It's really more of a choice on your part than anything else.

I would tend to say that vs. evil is a better all-around choice since a lot of faction-style monsters (e.g., goblins, orcs, etc.) tend to be lawful evil. At least that's how I remember is in 2nd Ed.

Then again, a lot of powerful things ...

Actually, it may be your video card drivers. I had this exact same problem with my ATI Radeon 7200.

If you're using a Radeon, the newest catalyst drivers don't seem to work (e.g., they freeze the game) with NWN.

I downloaded the Omega Plutonium drivers, which are beta and based off the older ...

There's a bedroll

There's a bedroll in the Customs House, you can 'activate' that and rest all you like in the first town :)

Just head back toward where you picked that dagger up on the table in the customs house and go down the stairs to the right. In that room (with the kegs) is a bedroll ...

The pyramids are an INCREDIBLE pain to find. Or at least I spent days wandering around endless dunes with a friend looking for them. Here's the big secret :P

The NPCs say it's way off to the SE in the desert... But the map is spherical. So if you leave from Tess (or right outside the ...

i think you just report bugs to dsbugs@dungeonsiege.com.

I saw the address in one of the chat logs. Either dsbugs or dsbug :)

Fallran stone is in a cave just outside of town... It's tough to see in the blizzard and all... But if you go out of town, past the tower, and stick to the LEFT HAND SIDE, you'll see a Furok cave entrance.

In the middle of the cave, there's a dead priest and the Fallran stone. Kill all the stuff ...

I agree, magic and intelligence both take a lot of work to gain. However, i've had the pleasure of playing with some gifted spell casters and they make the difference in any game.

Spell casters are akin to Monks in BG2... Tough to start out, but once you get mid-high level you can take out nearly ...

Multiplayer Quest (spoilers!)

Hey everyone,

I know most people haven't had the game long and the multiplayer continent is a huge area... But I was curious if anyone else has assembled the townstones and placed the tentstone in the inner sanctum.

When you do that, you pick up a book called 'Trials of Gallus' that seems to be an ...

Well, I haven't had a problem with multiplayer. Lag hasn't been a real issue, but I have broadband and most of the people i've played with do as well.

Most games are password protected, especially right now, because it pauses the game when someone joins. And if someone joins and just sits there ...

Yeah, I set my characters to the most aggressive stance and it's still not the best AI. If you set it to aggressive, they actually join the fight sometimes, but usually they just chance some stupid monster and bring back a whole pack of them :)

Also, I think you can right-click a target ...

Thanks for the replies :)

Sorry it took so long for me to write back but I've been busy playing :)

Fable, I haven't seen anything in single player or multiplayer that allows you to have multiple quests in your log like BG2. You can have multiple quests, but they're usually the same objected (get ...

Yeah, the only thing missing is a Lich. *grin*

Actually, I think swashbucklers are great. I'm attempting to solo with a swashbuckler, which is actually difficult, but they're very cool. Decent fighting skills and good thief abilities. Only thing you miss out on is backstab, but you get traps and it ...

Ahhh....

TRUE evil doesn't worry about experience. We seek to rid the world of silly Silver Dragons and their pesky little eggs... besides, what good are Goody-Goody dragons anyway? Dragons are meant to be implements of destruction and mayhem. Not 'mothers' that seek their eggs.

Destroy the eggs ...

Dungeon Siege Player review and Screenshots

Hey all, this is the first I've actually done this, but since I won the game and it came this morning I figured I'd put some screenshots up and give a quick review for those of you who don't have access to it yet.

First of all, here's the link to the screenshots I've done (56 currently, more soon ...

Well, first of all, I agree - Dungeon Siege looks fantastic. Been following it for over a year now (longer than I followed BG2).

Couple things real quick:
1. Anyone else on here fortunate enough to win one of the preview giveaways from Gamespot? My wife actually was able to win one of the 10 they ...

Wand of Wonderful Cheese Tactics :)

Hey, just thought I'd pass this along. The Wand of Wonder got me through a few really difficult fights, although it's somewhat cheesy...

For some reason, the 'petrification' works wonderful against dragons... maybe they have a bad saving throw against it or ...
