I check the condition of the two long guns routinely and find that they are in need repairs. So my reality is his weapons do degrade.

Companions equipment does not degrade with use. their weapons can degrade if an enemy shoots it, however.

Note that this is based on the vanilla Xbox 360 game

I just fast traveled to Fort Bannister (After having already cleared it out earlier) on my way to Vault 87 to find a GECK . On a side note I had Charon in my party. Several Talon Company Mercs had respawned ...

So it's not good to stack several shots on an enemy? It would be better to shoot once in VATS, then as soon as it is done enter VATS again?

I've noticed that VATS only slows down time, but not stop it entirely. When you stack up several shots on an enemy, the enemy can still move. Does this change the percentage to hit?
For example - say a raider is running away, and you enter vats, and you have a 60% chance to hit him in the back with ...

I actually have two questions, both based around leveling past level 20 on the Xbox 360.

1) What happens if you, when choosing your perks for level 20, choose the Here and Now perk? Wouldn't you automatically gain a level, bringing you to level 21?

2) How does the game stop you from leveling past ...

Personally I liked the inventory system. Sure it could've used work and I wish there was a group select so you could drop all those annoying heavy branches and orc axes at once, but I always felt cheap in Morrowind that you can just freeze your opponent and everything else, open up your backpack ...

Sorry, what I just said was for KOTOR 1. I have virtually no knowledge of KOTOR 2, so just ignore my posts.

I just went through again (with my lightsaber equipped) and threatened him constantly and managed to get him. Also note that I was on the PC.

I don't think that any choice depends on your alignment; if you have light side mastery you can still join up with bastila on the unkown world. I actually didn't have my lightsaber equipped when I talkeed to the locker. That probably killed my chances of skewering him.

Okay, now I played through again as a light sider with Mission in my party, and got Lena to finally talk to me. The rest of her side-quest was fine as well. Yet I did the same thing as last time. Glitch?

Still, if you do do that then you will have a much easier time of it (supposing this works). If anyone has an old save and wouldn't mind checking it out I would appreciate it. simple - don't cheat so excessively. Seriously, when will you need that much STR? If your worried about cash then use a money cheat, not a +4000 STR cheat.

Slightly stupid question. What are those two leveling systems? There is only one as far as I know.

About the shadow.

I just thought that, when you fight it, if you take off all your armor before fighting it, wouldn't your shadow have no defense? You could just equip the armor right after it appears. Would this work?
