Ah so!
Thanks fable. I thought that might be it. I am playing the xbox version. It probably has alot to do with my fame/infamy rating, or notoriety, or some such. Seems I will have to become a more famous fellow.
The soldiers are kind of cute though
I am really enjoying this game.
Cheerio Chris

Ok, I am the bossman :) I have these attractive fans that turn up regularly. They offer their services but there is no dialogue that allows me to do anything with them.
Dark brotherhood murderers do however help out when I order. Whats up with these fighters guild pussies? Afraid of a little ...

In your experience what is the best armour for speed in the Vanilla version of Oblivion IV? Having a bit of trouble finding armour with a base attribute of speed. Perhaps rings have to be used. Anyhow any advice appreciated
Cheers Chris

Yep, the continual crashes and the video slowdowns where doors and gates either stop opening or move so slowly that you think its locked up are the worst experiences I've had.,....error report message saying the game had a conflict with a codec file
In any case, it is easy to have way too many ...

It's also what is called a strawman argument, since nobody enjoys playing what you're suggesting for typical turn/pause-based combat. I personally like both turn-based and realtime, and there are several good arguments for the former:
Not met the strawman personally, but will look at Morrowind ...

Xbox PS3: Highlight spoiler text
There is a glitch that causes Shum to occasionally fall of a Skingrad bridge. This is fixed in the unofficial Oblivion patch. For consoles though it seems this error is largely unrecoverable. The only way to buy the house is to start a new game and buy it early on ...

Gidday all,
I read the new preview of Oblivion (linked in the GB News forum) and I'm beginning to wonder - does it sound to you chaps that the combat is heading down the action game style too much? Should we be concerned?
Cheers,
TGHO
What action game style are you talking about? GTA4 or ...

Thats a funny one
I killed some thieves in Anvil at about level 9, at level 23 there is one still in front of the gate to the sea front. The others disappeared so I think his presence isnt eternal.
Maybe get another house.

So far (level 16) silver seems the way to go. I think I read that they arnt sensitive to fire or ice not being of this world. If you are an Atronarch you can suck up their magic while they are blasting you. Just watch your health. One thing is to paralyze them and then get busy with a silver weapon.

Arrows are kind of annoying. I have the difficulty slider in the middle admittedly, but I have filled a zombie so full of the wicked shafts he looked like a porcupine, then he sauntered over and calmly took off the side of my face :) Ok it cuts both ways, I have also run about with arrows sticking ...
