SPOILERish

Remember, the globe can be turned around from the outside....

....or just had the dragon his heart, that works too.

I really like the whole drug subculture associated with Morrowind. Especially the quest to find a cure for a skooma-addict.

Has anyone found out if Moonsugar and Skooma can be manufactored with Alchemy? Is there a moonsugar receipe?

Sorcerer - solo

Summoned a fire elemental (thinking it would not be affected by the dragon's fire breath).

Summoned the elemental very close to him, ran back to the bridge while the elemental tanked.

Just dropped area-effect spells (ice storm, cone of cold, wilting, etc).

The dragon actually did ...

Yeah, I remember wandering around and whooping some fool named Crazy Bob - got that prophecy message.

I was a little disappointed since half the fun is tomb raiding and looting. Now, when I see a dungeon or other such place, I think twice about going in - never know if it's part of the main quest ...

Forget water breathing

Drop 3 or 4 points of restore health, constant effect: The effect practically negates the damage of drowining so that you basically get be underwater as long as you like
Plus, restore health helps in all your battles.

I rate this a full wheel of cheese-enchant. But it sure ...

You have to find an article of clothing that will allow you to pass through him. And once you find it, those floating little buggers attack you. I believe it was a necklace of some sorts - holy symbol of something. Just walk up, across east and back south ...

Possible Spoilers, maybe

Party looks good, maybe a little tank-lite.

I recall some beaties hitting for 108 points of damage.

I'm @ chapter 2 in HOF mode, 4-person party. My Sorceror has 68% of the kills by her lonesome.
Frankly, the beasties deal too much damage for my fighter tank. My ...

I hope they include a vaster monster selection - and tougher, improved AI for those foes.

My only complaint (and it was never a really strong complaint, more like a minor irritation) is that by Level 20 I was more powerful and anything else. By level 25, I would bring down entire dungeons without ...

Staying Alive (also known as The Art of Dodging Death's Dreary Dungeon).

Playing a 4-member party: Fighter, Thief, Cleric & Sorceror.

1.) Make sure you tank with your tank. Sounds simple - it isn't. I found that it takes some getting used to as monsters don't always target the guy up front.
If a ...

Just for the sake of argument,

The description of the skills says 'decrease by 1 to a minimum of 1'. Is there any place to check to see what my char's current speed rating is?
Hell, if my speed rating is 1 or 2, there's no point blowing a feat for 1 reduction; whereas, Casty-McSlowPoke the routin ...

All unemployed Rangers please form a line over there

It's official
Ranger Bob has been put out to pasture. He's hung up his bow and faux-leather tunic for good.

But please, it wasn't really his fault.

All that time sitting in the woods dancing with wolves; and well, the world just passed him by. And while Ranger Bob was discussing the nuances of ...

The thing that killed my interest in the Toolset was coming across the stark horrifying truth that I couldn't make an empty room.

Sounds stupid?

Maybe. But think of this: If I can't place immovables (i.e. chairs, tables, idle crap that comes with the tileset), then I can't build a truely unique ...

As far as stories go, I believe Planescape Torment was head & shoulders above the rest.

For me, I want a graphical epic story. Diabloesque hack-n-slash are wonderful if done well (see Diablo, Diablo II), but when I buy a RPG DnD game, I expect a Graphical Epic Story.

Please read this if you read ...

Chapter 1 Theme Spoiler

I thought this was neat planning by the writers of NwN:

Throughout the city of Neverwinter there are Priests of Helm kicking around offering blessings:

Each Priest of Helm (later discovered to be a False Helmite) has a dialogue option regarding Helm/his faith/his symbol/etc. -> When asked about ...

My guess would be

You = Lv1
Boar = Lv 7

Average Level of Party = 4 (which is 7+1/2)

When you grabbed Pavel:

You = Lv1
Pavel = Lv1
Boar = Lv 7

Average Level of Party = 3 (which is 1+1+7/3)

Thus, picking up Pavel actually lowers the average party level.

If the Goblin is level 2, your first ...

Speaking of Visual Ranges...

Have you ever noticed that sometimes a certain unnamed henchman will look off into the distance, yell something absurd like "Hold up there!" and then bolt out of the room into a fogged room (i.e. a room you haven't yet explored) to disarm a trap you didn't even know was ...

A little disappointed

I have to say that I am a little disappointed. Not much, just a little.

Silly question re: MODS

Do the number of active MODs running influence game preformance? i.e. slow down speed of loading, running, etc.?

Also, do you think the new offical patch will make all the MODs out there obsolete?
