I haven't played BG much, so when and where did he show up. I'll go and visit him and kick his ***

Ahem, speaking from one who was bored enough to attack him, I can say it's a very short fight. Of course that was the 1st game. I'm not sure you can attack him in the second game.

He shows up ...

And yes, creating a world believable enough to be Fearun and the Forgotten Realms would just be dead-near impossible. I can see the cities and wilderness areas, *possibly* even caves like Firkraags Lair, but when you stack the number of scenes up, well, you'll run out of money long before the movie ...

Alyson Hannigan is SO perfect as Imoen. Especially when you find out she is also a Bhaalspawn. Have you seen the most recent episodes of Buffy? That girl would play a convincing Sith Lord in Star Wars. She freaked me out!

A question no one has seemed to ask or answer: Who would be the lead ...

It IS another plane, actually. But even when a character dies, unless he gets chunked, you can theoretically carry the body indefinitely. So you could still take Anomen back to a temple or to an in to revive.

Well, I once made the mistake of having Edwin talk to Salvanas in the Copper Coronet after he transcribed his, er... her Nether Scroll.

What happened next could only be described as the massacre at the Copper Coronet, since I forgot to turn the party AI off.

Oops! :)

Have to go with Imoen, once you get her back.

Several reasons: 1) No back talk from Imoen. "Good to go" is all she says when you ask her to do something, whether it's pickpocketing Kangaxx or backstabbing Delon cuz you just don't feel like doing the Umar Hills quest.

2) Don't have to put up with ...

Best Fighting style

I've been playing BGII for a little while now, so I want to ask everyone. Which of the four styles is the best, and why do you think so?

Personally, I like the two-handed weapon skill because of the enhanced speed and critical hit numbers.

What do you think?

Maz? With Korgy? I'm sorry, I just don't see that happening!

Heh heh... that was just in Korgan's mind. I think she'd rather eat Ankheg dung than allow Korgan in her blankets.

Spoiler Alert!!!

BTW, I checked the endings, and Viconia only dies if you romance her, and it is ...

Earlier in this thread, I said Edwin was the funniest NPC, and that may be true in SoA. But in ToB, Jan rules! He had me in tears with his story of his "old cracker smuggling days."

Also, have him talk with Sir Anomen, twice Jan pisses Anomen off nearly to the point of burying his mace in Jan's ...

Hmmm, you could say that being around the Bhaal energies for such an extended period of time gave the NPC's longer than average lifespans or some such nonsense. Though Aerie, Viconia, Jaheira, and Haer'Dalis won't really notice the change in their ages.

But I think it would be neat, having all new ...

Then perhaps we should all do it ourselves. I came up with a reasonable idea for another sequal. Baldur's Gate 3: Return of the Bhaalspawn (just kidding). I have no real problems with writing a script if someone can utilize the programming to create the areas and dialogue. I can use Shadowkeeper to ...

Just a thought to a BGIII expansion. Aerie and the main character have a baby in one possible romance ending. Viconia and the main character also have a child, as well. What if the child either retained a spark of Bhaal or the Cowled Wizards consider him (Quayle ...

I wouldn't even consider trying to determine whose party would win, as both sound very powerful (and if you're ever challenged, then there's always the ctrl-Y method. :) )

I like your idea of a story within a story, and I'll definitely have to try the Ascension mod you mentioned. It sounds fun ...

Okay, maybe "stupid" was a poor choice of words. But I stand by my decision that Edwin is funnier.

Minsc does have his own sense of the world around him. It's more the reaction others have that make him seem stupid.

Hmmm, I have to go with Windspear Hills, if only for the complexity of it all, except for Firkraag's rather weak, though believable, reasoning for bringing you there in the first place.

In the Windspear Hills, you have it all... intrigue, drama, and lots of blood and gore. (Side Note: I don't know ...

I have to vote for Edwin as the funniest NPC, if just for the hilarious (and quite disturbing) Nether Scroll mini-quest. Has anyone had Edwin/Edwina speak with Salvanas in the Copper Coronet? Absolutely priceless. Not to mention Minsc's confusion at Edwin's new form.

I know a lot of you voted for ...

I know, I know... I cheated big time for the first run through, though I only did it to see the game without the stress of worrying about death. And I just finished defeating Melissan. Here's my party...

Me (yeah, I'm that self-absorbed that I gave my character my name), I "altered" my characters ...

I'm partial to the Kensai/Thief dual-classed human. The "Use Any Item" skill the Thief gets cancels out any disadvantages, such as not using armor or missile weapons. They can even use items like Carsomyr!
