For any of my fellow UK players, you make like to know that if you get the crash when entering Lower Dorns Deep in HOW, the standard UK patch fixes the problem.

More important than what you play as, is the stats you assign yourself up front. Because of the importance of dialogue in determining events, high intelligence, wisdom and even charisma should be considered above some of the other categories. This becomes increasingly important later in the game.

Equip everyone with bows and slings and edge forward VERY SLOWLY. Once one comes in site, hit them with all you've got. Using this tactic means that you can usually take on 3 at a time and take them out before they get to you.

I only finished Planescape Torment a few weeks ago, after playing both IWD and BG2. Its very different and very cerebral. I have just finished IWD but I didn't get the end movie. Its no big deal but it would be nice to see it. I remember seeing on some message board that this sometimes happens with the UK version running the UK patch and that there is a spoiler to enable you to see all the movies. Can anyone help?

I know you need the original IWD installed for HOW but when and where does the expansion kick in. In other words does it form a subquest of IWD or is it played as a single entity in isolation.

Up until the time you have to kill Bodhi (chapter 6?) the western entrance is blocked. Use the one to the east. I would be interested to see how you got on since I haven't performed this quest, being always opposed to Bodhi, and might consider it on a rerun.
