Then explain how Summoner was able to do this and that was basically a PS2 Console game.

I've never played Summoner, so I can't do that for you. Perhaps you could explain though? I've never seen a computer game that has allowed you to completely alter the main story or ignore it and then have an ...

You cannot fully decide your role in a computer RPG. The number of decisions that a player may want to make cannot possibly be accounted for. Mayhap you have played a tabletop RPG, perhaps Dungeons & Dragons; that is possible there. But a computer RPG should not be trodden upon for not giving the ...

I agree. Perhaps a mod will run around that'll do just that. I wasn't a fan of the red iron helms myself.

Which difficulty are you on, and who are you fighting Loghain as?

Perhaps lower the difficulty if you are able to and use a more apt character to battle Loghain. Mess him up a bit with a rogue, or go Frank Rizzo on him with a warrior.

I triumphed with Alistair during the first go on normal ...

That's not a bad idea. I got the console version myself. I know I'll want the PC version later on down the road.

The alt-tabbing could do it. I know a lot of my games fail to reopen or act funny when I alt-tab or control-alt-delete.

I haven't much to say in the sense of tinkering, but I have got several old functioning PCs with Windows 98 and 2000 left from work. I play Doom and the early Elder Scrolls on those occasionally.

When it came to determining who would take the throne, Alistair or Anora, I had persuaded them to arrange a marriage and the neutrality of that may have kept her on my side. However after dealing with Loghain and winning the vote, Arl Eamon gave me the power who decide on Alistair or Anora. I called ...

I was not aware of the value of Anora's vote, though I'll have you know that I killed Ser Cauthrien. As for Bann Vaughan, I played a Dwarf so I didn't encounter him.

She is trustworthy so long as your terms are reasonable. Don't say that Loghain must be killed for one thing.

To the third question: after I had finished the quest (siding with the mages), Wynne had asked Irving if she could accompany my character further, to which I requested that Wynne not come with me but remain with Irving. She said she would remain at the tower in that case, and her offer to go with me ...
