Ohh, and another thing. If I was to put GM in a weapon while a ranger or kensai would the GM proficiency show up when the ranger or kensai class got reactivated?

Ranger/Cleric and Kensai/Mage tips?

Just wondering If I was creating a ranger/cleric or a kensai/mage, what would be the optimal level to dual at and why. I'll probably play through ToB and I'm not sure what the XP cap for that is or how that would affect anything.

I dont understand why the reputations are seen as 9 different levels. It seems to be more like a three by three table with Good-evil on one side and Choatic-Lawful on the other.

Example Minsc will do what he thinks is good and proper and will do whatever he has to do to do it. Aerie as a lawful ...

Im playing a 6 PC Multi game and I want to do the Planar Shere quest. Is there anyway to get into the PLanar sphere without killing him or do I have to dirch one of the members and reload after we're in the sphere.

Kensai or Barb

Im creating a party with the following characters.

Sorcerer
Ilusionist
Ranger-9/Cleric
Bounty Hunter
Monk

The Ranger will dual wield hammers and flails (FoA + CF)
The Bounty Hunter will be mainly for bows and stuff.
The Monk is just there for insane dam + sneaking up on spell casters.

I want a ...

So does two handed weapon proficiencies increase the speed of a long bow,

Or does single handed style increse you AC and Critical hits if you are only holding a ranged weapon.

And does using a shield and ranged weopn still give the AC bonus if you have S/shield proficiencies.

More questions...

What is move silently? is it related to hide in shadows?
How do you force a lock?

Should I change my Swashbuckler to a Bounty hunter or a Fighter/Thief? The monk could get 100 in detect traps and still have points left over for hide in shadows to sneak up on mages.

That leaves ...

Thieving Stats

Im confused as to How many thief stats each class gets. As faar as I know the Thieving Classes are;

Monk
Bard
Thief
Assasin
Bounty Hunter
Swashbuckler.

I didnt count ranger because you dont actually distribute those points. Now I am playing a MP party with a monk and a swashbuckler in it. At the ...

What exactly are the druid spells?

More food for thought... A ranger dualled at lvl 9 will have 9 proficincy points, If the Cleric maxes in SoA at lvl 19 that will be an additional 6 proficincy points to give a total of 15. If A ranger can only put two points in each wepon then you could have,

Ranger/Cleric Vs Berserker/Cleric

Is a dual classed berserker/cleric better ofr worse than a Ranger/Cleric.

Because fighters use less exp to level up if you dualled at lvl 9 thte berserker could still make it to lvl 20 as a cleric, the ranger wouldnt. The berserker has lower THAC0 and can use berserker rage. Also advanced weapon ...

Max exp - ranger exp = cleric exp
2950000-150000=2800000
The priest can still reach lvl 20, if i dualled at 9 she would only reach 19

The gamebanshee website says list one of the strengths of the swashbuckler as 2 proficincy points in thief melee weapons, but i had no problems placing 2 proficenicy points in short bow, havent tried c-bow or sling yet.

From a role playing perspective i should have at least some melee proficincies ...

intelligence or wisdom?

Out of int and wis which is most important for a fighter?, Wisdom increases magic def and somehow affects the initiative round, but intellegence decreases Mazing times. Are there any other affects?
