Ya I'll keep this thread in my favorites and I'll check back frequently. I won't do a format just yet until I'm positive it's all I can do. I'll try the help number. Thanks everyone for your help, and if there's anybody that can help post away here.

Ya I already deleted all those flinf and it still doesn't work.

I do not have Configsafe..and I am aware that that is a feature of Windows ME..however I have 98 SE. If I did have Configsafe I wouldn't have posted this thread

Ok to update the problem I'll post this:

1. ReD tried to install BGII but it was corrupted and only part of it was installed.
2. ReD had no way of uninstalling it so he just deleted the folder it was installed into.
3. ReD got a new good copy of BGII and tried to install it but the computer still ...

wut

Yeah I'm too depressed about this whole situation right now.

I'll try it later..right now I'm too tired and lazy.

Hmm..hell I guess it's worth a try.

After 100 posts I think it goes up to Member..or something like that.

Hey I found this in the autorun.ini file on the BGII CD:

[English]
lInstall=INSTALL
lUninstall=PLAY

Maybe if I burn a copy of the BGII Cd and replace the autorun line with this it'll work:

[English]
lInstall=INSTALL
lUninstall=INSTALL

Ok.

And by the way I'd like to tell you guys I just looked in the registry and there are no keys relating to BGII and it still doesn't work.

So that's ALL I need to know Seabass? I've never formatted so I'm a newbie when it comes to that.

As a matter of fact, I'm a newbie with almost all PC tech probs.
