Do you still have the "stuck" save game file?

I'm pretty sure there's a console command to unstick yourself.

I don't think it's a bug, but the last Ashlander tribe is difficult in the sense that you must proceed through a precise sequence of events/meetings or it won't work.

I know there have been multiple posts concerning this problem. I would try searching the forum for additional information. Also, try ...

Well, that's not the only way. I was fortunate enough to have completed most of the original game before Tribunal came out so I was about level 35 i think and I just bashed him 10-15 times with either Sunder or Umbra (I can't remember which).

He died easily enough. Don't get me wrong, he's one of ...

I had the same problem. Basically, whenever you steal an item, it remembers the item type. I grabbed all of the soul gems from the enchanter in Balmora and subsequently, could never use her again to enchant items.

Basically, it's a tricky path to follow. If you are patient, you can pick up(legally ...

Steal back one of the artifacts that does show up in the dialogue and give it to her. Might work, or might get you reported as thief.

General tip

Using Misc. Skills to your advantage:

Your misc. skills are probably the least important to you character from an RPG standpoint and they don't help you level up, but they are useful.

My personal pref for training is not to train my major/minor skills. It makes the game too easy as ...

You are refering to Fargoth's Gold quest? Yeah, I got that one too.

@Mordor: If you haven't done that one yourself, just ask him about "Fargoth's gold". It's a chat option in the dialog box.

It's probably a combination of the House (which is very honor bound) and the rank. I haven't played the other houses yet, but if i remember correctly from the posts i've read, both are more accepting of (and even require you to) get rid of house members for advancement.

Hrisskar's Dagger

Has anyone ever found a use for the dagger found in the Excise office in Seyda Neen? The one with the note pinned underneath.

I talked to everyone in an attempt to use the note to trigger a quest but nothing.

Is there no purpose to the note?

Hmmm. Not sure of any involvement with the mark's family. The Morag Tong quests were the last ones I did. I am sure, however, that I had him alone (he's the only Redoran you have to kill for the Tong which is fortunate). I wasted him and no alarm sounded, which is what usually happens when your ...

I can tell you win98SE is not a problem; it's what I have

the most important piece is the video card; the game requires a 32MB card but you can't really appreciate the graphics w/o a 64MB.

You may want to pick up some more memory too. Another 128 would be fine and isn't very expensive these days ...

Like Scratchy said, there are much better cuirass out there and the fists of Randgulf sp?.

My warrior character wore:

Dragonbone
Daedric tower shield
Daedric greaves
Deadric ...

Install Tribunal as soon as you are able; meaning when your character can survive the initial fights. If you are starting a brand new game, you will not last. You have to be level 5 or so depending on your character class.

You can always disable the Tribunal data file if you keep getting killed ...

Taunt is only effective when it succeeds. A failed taunt lowers their disposition but doesn't make them attack.

Taunt to near zero then bribe them back up. Three successful taunts in a row will make them attack, but if you stick with it long enough, the many non-consecutive taunts also work (and ...
