I never did figure it out, but I went on without it. I've just entered the Jungles of Chult, which is the furthest I've ever gotten so I'm happy

I've cleared out every monster in the caves and opened the Black Raven Gate, but Barum still doesn't give me the option to say yes I've cleared everything so he'll give me the next quest. Did I miss some hidden spot or am I doing something wrong?

Ok, just in case anybody is interested, I got down to level two and everything is just hunkydory.

Actually I was on level one trying to get down to level two. But as long as I didn't have to start over from the beginning, it's all good lol.

Didn't mean to start an argument. Anyway, I found an autosave from the beginning of rhe chapter so I just started it over again. I've never had that problem before as I recall, so I don't expect it'll happen again. I'll try to remember to be more explicit about my problem in future, though ...

I can't get down to the second level of the ice temple for some strange and inexplicable reason. The doors won't unlock and I can't get through the door to the stairs by the painting.

Have you tried forcing the lock? Sometimes that works. Or you could try alternating forcing it and picking it. I find that, unless the lock is magically sealed so that you can never open it, you can usually get it to open if you're just persistent enough.

Of course my fighter could have made one too many passes at my ranger and pissed her off. On the other hand, maybe she has a thing for him and caught him making passes at my paladin or my cleric (both rather nice looking girls).

lol Interesting idea! Of course my ranger is a buxom red-headed human female, my fighter is a rather dark skinned male shield dwarf, and my rogue is a sinister looking male tiefling, so I think maybe that would be a rather odd romantic triangle hee hee hee.

Ever since I cleaned out the Goblin Fortress Exterior my Ranger won't quit trying to kill my fighter! What do I do????

I killed Ygoug before going to level 2. I'm out of luck aren't I?

Call me computer illiterate, but I'm not sure exactly what it is that I'm supposed to do to get my new portraits to show up in the game. Can someone explain it so I can understand exactly what I'm supposed to do or should I just give it up and write it off as one more thing I'm not capable ...

I wanted to add some new char portraits, but I can't seem to find the portrait folder that I'm supposed to stick them in. Where can I find it?

Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty sure that I must have injured one of the soldiers when I threw one of those fire bombs or burning oils or something. I just didn't know that that would cause everyone to turn against me lol. I'll be more careful now that I know.

I just started playing Icewind Dales and I've managed to kill all the goblins in the palisade, but when I go to tell Crale or Lord Ulbrec they attack me and I don't understand why. Can someone please tell me what I've done wrong?!
