It is a bug. I had the same thing happen to me. I had to reload and do the whole thing over again.

I killed the black dragon and the red with my fighter/thief at the level cap. It took a couple reloads but was not very difficult. I just beefed my self up with potions and when ever I got low on hp's I would run around in circles and drink healing potions and then attack again. If I used a few ...

Simple. Just lay down beside the sorceror and take a snooze till his spells wear off.

A fighter/thief or assasin would take out a sorceror easily with one back stab. You would not see him coming because he would be hid in shadows. Your invisibility would not work becuase of detect illusion. Your stone skin or other protective spells would not be up because you would not see him ...

If multiplayer in BG2 works the same way like it did in BG1 then a fighter/thief with a cloak of nondetection would be able to win any fight against a wizard or fighter type because the use of stealth would be unlimited because other PC's do not go hostile during a fight and you can just keep hiding ...

The save game files on the old drive may still be usable. You might try hooking it up as a secondary drive and copying them over

Not sure. I was using Viconia at the time and I never could put up with any of the good characters whining long enough ...

I read someplace that if the lead characters charisma is low the party members have a higher chance of running off in fear during battle. Not sure if its true.

If you have stakes in your inventory you should be able to hold the cursor over the cofens and click on them to stake them.

What door are you trying to open? I believe one of the doors is opened by running across the spinning things and pressing the button

The first thing I did when i sided with bohdi was go kill that annoying guy. He had the key on him before I got the quest. Did you go back and search the room real good ?
