I just don't get this sprit meter stuff.

I have suppressed once but my spirit meter is now down to 7. I can't eat any spirit since I have already suppressed "today". Every time I try to rest I die. How on earth am I supposed to continue?

I prefer the Earth domain, which gives you both Toughness and the spell Stoneskin.

I found it myself thanks to a loading tip I've never noticed before: in the upper right corner of the quick spell box, there is an icon for converting.

After two complete runthroughs of the game (and several late restarts), I still haven't figured out how to spontaneously convert clerical spells. Could someone please help me out?

Even with a very good PC the load times can be terrible sometimes. Are you certain you're giving it time enough?

Have you tried to access these areas from another area then your current one? Sometimes it helps to take an extra tour, for some reason.

Neither did I my first time through. Then I played a Fighter/Rogue, this time a Wizard.

Last time I did the area under Catle Never, Neverneath, i noticed two strange things about the guardians (I failed the questions on purpose in order to get the extra boot):

1) Someone is saying "Help me" from what appears to be inside the guardians.

If you are going to play an elf, you have no choice but to go wizard as your arcane class. Unless you took ranger level instead of fighter, then you could go wood elf which is even better yet because they are waaaaay better than regular elves and half-elves and you could take bard levels instead of ...

You'll get new spells every other level as Palemaster.

True, I hadn't though about the XP penalties. Wizard seems to be the best choise then.

Any spells you definately shouldn't miss out on, or would you go for only one Wiz level?

How would you build an Arcane Archer?

Ranger feels like a good choise martialwise, with the Point Blank feat at second level and Toughness at third. The Animal Companion at forth is nice, as are the spells Cat's Grace and Barkskin.

But should you take levels as Wizard, Sorceror or Bard? And how ...

Thanks, good advice, I hadn't thought about the maximum number of enchantments. On that subject, is it possible to upgrade your enchantments by removing old and throwing new ones?
