Where does one get this unofficial Circle of 8 patch? Does anyone know the link? And if I do get it and use it, will it interfere with my using the official patch if/when it does come out? Yeah, sounds like your video drivers are overloaded, or your RAM. Make sure your computer is up to the task for playing this game, and that you have a kick-butt video card and lots n' lots of RAM.
