No Dragon Age 2 Section - but Diablo III !?

Hey,

I just want to ask something and this seems like the right place to me. Is there a reason why there is no section for Dragon Age 2 on gamebanshee?

It just seems weird to me. Even games like Diablo 3 which a) isn't even released yet and b) cannot legimately be called an RPG imho, have their ...

Journal not always updated *minor spoilers*

Sometimes when I finish a quest, for example fetching the book for Firebead in Beregost, or killing/helping Silke, my journal isn't updated at all. The last entry says "I have been hired by a woman named Silke to protect her from some mercenaries" etc.

Just want to know if it's perfectly normal ...

-2 on attack roll *minor spoilers*

So.. on my new game of BG1 I noticed something strange. Sometimes when I fight someone I get a penalty of -2 on my attack roll. For example when fighting Ajantis in AR1400. It says for example, Attack Roll: 16 - 2 = 14 : Hit. I'm using a regular longsword. Shouldn't I rather get a bonus because I'm ...

The ease-of-use mod has a "happy party" component which lets party members stay independent of reputation.
If you still want good or neutral party members to leave because of bad reputation or the evil party members to be happy you can edit the corresponding .2da file manually.

Any other options ...

Who doesn't like a good reputation!?

Hey there,

I've just started a new game of Baldur's Gate 1 planning on playing the whole Saga once more. Playing as an evil character again this time I remembered one thing that has been bothering me since the very first time I've played BG - evil NPC party members get angry about a good reputation ...

Black & White decisions *spoilers*

Hey guys,

in preparation for the sequel I recently started a new game of the Witcher. Currently I'm at the point where I have to decide how to react to the elves trying to get their supplies from Haren Brogg. However, I have some serious trouble deciding what to do here.

The problem is, I don't ...

Mass Effect 1: Only played through the game once at the highest difficulty that was available with a lvl 50 pure paragon Adept, romanced Liara, sacrificed Kaidan, saved the Council, put Anderson in charge and basically left all the people you can leave alive, alive. The other choices are mostly ...

Update: Another little incident that fits quite well into this is the argument between Tali & Legion after both of their loyalty missions. The paragon requirement to solve this issue is a meager 60%, while you definitely need to be 100% renegade for the renegade option. Paragon is ridiculously ...

No idea; each and everyone of those options was always available to me. Maybe you've been too "neutral" up until now?

I don't think so. In the beginning I chose a few paragon/neutral options because I had the illusion ME2 would give the neutral/mixed approach a chance, but after that I ...

Boderline Ridiculous... *spoilers*

... renegade/paragon requirements!?

I just did the assignment "Citadel: Found Forged ID". Talked to the Asari, went to the C-Sec Customs Officer, talked to her. I'm lvl 21 and my renegade bar is something around 70% full. Still the renegade conversation option was unavailable to me. So I went back ...

If you don't mind outright cheating, you could always use a save game editor or edit the coalesced.ini to modify your Paragon or Renegade scores. I did so for my second and third playthrough and have no regrets. Some of the P/R speech options are downright hilarious. :p

I do mind cheating ...

Level Up Bug! *possible spoilers*

Help! I just finished Garrus' loyalty mission and received my 750XP, enough to level me up to 12. The thing is, while my main character got his skill points as intended, both of my party members didn't receive any additional skill points.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it a bug or do they ...

Garrus Loyalty *spoilers*

Simple Question

I did the quest and found 13800 credits and got an additional 15000 from Cerberus. Normally you find the exact same amount of credits you get from Cerberus as a bonus. Did I miss something? Has anyone ever managed to get the 15000?

On the contrary, evidence points towards the fact that the P/R response for resolving teammate's conflicts are scaled to your level. Hence doing both of their loyalty missions fairly late in the game may not be totally advisable.

I see... Thx. Seems like I'll just have to try then. Any pointers ...

That would be my advice. Jack's loyalty power: Warp Ammo, is quite awesome (especially good as your bonus power if you are playing a class weak against barriers or armors). So that makes an argument for doing her mission early on. On the other hand, if you are pursuing romance with Miranda, that'll ...

Answers in spoiler tags:

That decision does not affect the loyalty mission for Jack. It only makes the full romance with her impossible. She'll still talk to you (only about) when giving her loyalty mission (when Kelly directs you to go talk to Jack in her "hidey-hole", some time soon after ...

She does become considerably more interesting should you take the time to get to know her. I didn't like Jack, and still don't, but I could empathize somewhat with her attitude and condition once I she began to open up and relate her history.

Hm, ok. I will still choose casual sex though I think ...
