Neutral good huh... good

Then (note I'm trying not to give away too much) take Thrommel out and wait for his reward. Which takes about 40 days. After which, you'll be approached seemingly randomly during travel from one place to another.
I found a nice safe place to rest (Used house in Nulb ...

Yes I have had this problem

Do you have the Co8 Patch installed?
That's what caused the problem for me. Exactly the same, some doors just couldn't be found no matter what.
Never had that problem without the Co8 patch.

If you don't ever want to be able to purchase better weapons... equipment... or sell your hoard... or rest in a safe place...
What allignment is your party? Prince Thrommel's gift (which arrives after about 40 days) can be better for you than having Thrommel in the party.

No, this problem is a bug.
Roll history comfirms it.
The secret door has a DC to notice of 0, which means unless you have an intelligence of 7 or lower and you roll a natural 1, you'll find it.
Remember, a 1 is only an automatic fail on an attack roll.
That and roll history doesn't even come up with ...

It may sound like I just like blaming them for everything... but!!

I had this exact same problem which magically went away when I uninstalled the Co8 patch. Leading me to believe that it was somehow caused by that.

Hmmm... I didn't summen them myself..

But my cousin for that matter... he summoned them. Not only can you summon them again as soon as they're killed, but they don't leave if not slain. They follow you around perpetually, even into town.
People stop talking to you
"Uh... what's that thing behind ...

There are a few maps around.
Just try talking to everyone, and if that doesn't work... kill everyone :)

Malfunction, need input

You can't play?
Well.... what happens when you try to load it up? How far does it go?
Does it crash out or just sit there?

In order to help you with this, more data is needed on what the problem actually is.

Hmm yeah I heard about that one.
Is she meant to marry a specific character? Or like pretty much everything else is it a party thing?

(Male Monk wins fight against Tolub... Female rogue talks to pirate... pirate says "you fight pretty good for a girl")

And if it is a specific character, what ...

The only way I've noticed (other than getting them killed in combat and neglecting to bring them back) if to select one of your party members, right click on the NPC (bringing up radial menu) and selecting "talk"
You should be able to, in conversation, tell them that you want them to leave.

Some of ...

Starting weapons

One nice little touch in ToEE is that if a character starts with a weapon based feat, then he'll have that weapon.
Even if it's a cleric with the War domain gaining marshal weapon proficiency with his/her god's favoured weapon.

The exception to this of course is if you bring a ...

Arg!!! Help!!!

Hmm... I can't seem to get spring attack working. Nor shot on the run for that matter.
Maybe I'm blind but I haven't noticed anything new in the radial menu.

Is there something remarkably obvious I'm missing, or is this another not quite fixed bug that comes part and parcel with the game?

For pure damage...

and AC... nothing goes past rescuring the prince and getting the prize.

A weapon that always hits... hmm, I guess that means if I power attack for everything... expertise for 5... and just as a little added extra, fight defensively and have ranks in tumble.
My AC suddenly ...

Co8

Might just be me jumping to conclusions, but based off all the other problems which I only have ever had while using the Co8 patch....

Maybe I'm too harsh on them, they made a spectacular effort and added some great changes....

But it's caused too many issues for me to warrent keeping it ...

The other useful one he stumbled across was how to spread multiple attacks. If you select full attack from the radial menu it ...

If you're not proficient with a shield (or armour for that matter) you should receive the armour check penalty towards any strength or dexterity based rolls.

Ahh but the true point doth reveal itself

In that, yes sure I admit it. Fighters are actually better fighters than clerics. But clerics in their own right are good in combat.
And not only this, they have a large horde of spells to choose from (Not having to find them like the Wizard), has decent ...

No detect evil

As well as having no detect evil, no one seems to react to much of what you did in NWN.
I remember slaughtering the entire temple in the first city while Aribeth (The Paladin) stood there quite calmly, quite immune to any form of damage, and quite oblivious to the fact that I've ...
