How in Roofdrak's darkest hell did I manage to play all of BG1 and 30 hours of BG2 without finding that button? Just unlucky, I guess.

My thoughts for BG3

Brighter colour around locations with objects to be picked up ( it was better in BG1 )

Better isometrics in dungeons. Difficult to judge where the floor is when its hidden by a wall. Solution 1. Ability to rotate map 90 degrees. Solution 2. Walls become almost transparent when ...

Daystar? Whats that? Probably something further in the game, i've only just started BG2, have just finished the Windspear quest( rescue the child )

I'm interested in Arbane's Sword ...

I don't think I've run into any magic draining whatsits yet. Interesting point, though. If an item that recharges ...

Thanks for the idea - tried and it did't work. Must have affected the sword somehow coz its now worth 3000gp to sell. Bought it back, but still no haste ability ...

Has anyone else found this bug?

If not, can someone confirm that the special haste power of this sword is accessed by the star ...

What do I need to do to get that pesky Arbane's sword to charge up it's haste special ability? I've tried using it, equiping it and resting past midnight, tried various characters, some with short sword proficiency, some without, and STILL can't get this haste ability working.

Because of this ...

Are there any romances if you are playing with 6 of your own characters?


P.S. I have noted lots of other posts about romances but I'm not reading them. I'm still playing the game, and trying to avoid spoilers for other stuff as best I can.

a) Compresses TV commercial breaks to 1/10 of a second. The "saved time" is used for the next function.

or,

b) Extends TV commercial breaks to exactly one second ...

Hey, Gruntboy:

I had that problem of overwritings saves by accident as well. Now I number them all in sequence, keeping 10 at a time before overwriting, ie save 11 overwrites save 01, save 12 overwrites save 02, etc.

Interesting to keep count how many saves to finish a game. I did BG1 with 442 ...

I preferred a tried and true multiclass half-elven Fighter/Mage/Thief

Fighter class for decent attack rolls.
Weapon specialist in bow, + a good dexterity bonus = enemy pincushion creator !!
A fireball or two just to warm things up now and again ..

Interesting comment about the random abilities, maybe thats why my imported ranger wound up with 2 buttons each with 4 uses of charm animal !!

How did you play BG2 ?

Options ..

1 - Played BG1 with 1 character + in game NPC's and imported that character to BG2.
2 - Played BG1 with 1 character, but started new solo character in BG2
3. - Played BG1 with 6 generated characters, and imported them all to BG2.
4 - Or ...

I suspect having two characters with the child of Bhaal powers in the same game, would be OK. Otherwise there would be potential trouble in a regular multiplayer game if more than one player used such characters.

However, I still would like to here from anyone ...

How about a separate chat & gossip board for B2 fans, with the orginal board reserved for serious questions and game related posts only ..
