First off it should be noted that Anarchy online is a mix of class and skills based. Your initial profession will determine your starting skills and will also determine which types of nanotechnology(similar to spells) and other abilities you will gain throughout your career. Unlike other class based RPG's though your skills are very customizable. Every level you will gain a number of skill points. You can distribute these points to whatever skills you choose. Because of the large number of skill points and available skills I would have to say that of all the RPG's I have played Anarchy Online offers the largest degree of customization.
