A Little History on Our One Year Anniversary

In the very beginning, we started out covering a few select games, including Baldur's Gate II, Pool of Radiance, Shadowbane, and Warcraft III. Within the first couple of weeks, Warcraft III was dropped for several different reasons (even though I still think it's going to be a helluva game) and the original Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale were added.
Three weeks after we went live (September 22nd), Baldur's Gate II hit store shelves, marking our first real coverage of a newly released game. In fact, over the course of our first year, Baldur's Gate II has been the only full game (not counting expansions) that was released while we were "live". The rest of the games we cover have either not been released yet, or were released before we showed up. Our coverage for Baldur's Gate II was extensive enough that Interplay named us their "Official Baldur's Gate II Fan Site" and, almost overnight, thousands of people poured into the site.
Since that first crazy month, we've grown into covering a dozen different role-playing games, with quite a few more on the horizon to be added at a later date. Currently, we're awaiting the release of Pool of Radiance on September 25th and Dark Age of Camelot on October 16th. I've been playing both of these games extensively and I really think you're going to like what you'll see once these games are released. And if you think our coverage of any of our other games has been good, wait until Neverwinter Nights is released =).
Anyway, I just thought some of you might be interested in reading where it all began. I really feel we've created a vast and informative RPG site, with thousands of great visitors stopping by each day, and I can honestly say I'm very happy to be here. Let's hope things continue in the same direction for many years to come.
