Never before has a demon as powerful as Ardor escaped the confines of the nether realm. Thankfully, it has not strayed far from the mouth of the rift or the Earth might well have never recovered. It draws some of its power out from the underworld, which explains its proximity to the opening.

As the Black Ether spreads, so will this demon's ability to stray farther and farther into the realms of men... and then, none shall be able to stop it.
