How much flexibility will the character creator have compared to, say, City of Heroes?
DCUO has thousands of character customization options. A set of these options will be available right off the bat, while others will be found throughout the game. You'll earn cool gear from just about all the missions in the game as well as side quests, group content, raids, and random drops. In addition to all this, once you gain an item and integrate it into your style collection, you'll be able to select that appearance at any time yet still retain the stats from your gear. As with any RPG style game, players become very vested in the look of their character as they level up, and the last thing they'd want is to get an item with killer stats, but ruins the look.
