As Lucien's bullet pierces your flesh during The Weapon, you fade from consciousness only to wake up as a child again. It's a beautiful morning in your family's perfect little farmhouse. Your sister Rose is here, and she wants to go outside and play! She's already assembled twenty bottles for you to shoot all around the farm, plus there are chickens to round up and beetles to slay.

Confused? Just go with it. Hang a left out of the farmhouse and start shooting bottles as you make your way to the chicken coop. Kick the chickens around the area until you get them all to land inside the fence, then cross over the bridge while continuing to shoot bottles. When you reach the field, you'll have to pull out your toy pistol or wooden sword and slay all of the beetles infesting it. All of this is optional, really. You're just having fun with Rose until the sun sets, and then it's bedtime for both of you.

You don't get much sleep, though. You're awoken to the sound of music coming from past your farm's outer gate. Rose just wants you to go back to sleep, but ignore her and go outside. She pleads for you not to venture outside the farm, but continue on until you reach a horribly burned region with corpses and death all around you. At the end of the path lies the source of the music - the Music Box you purchased with Rose. Claim it once more and your memories will begin flooding back to you. You begin to realize that the box is the weapon you need to defeat Lucien. With the test passed, you are brought to the Tattered Spire to pursue Retribution.
