I was looking through the Clua area codes, and some of them said that there was a different area code for strongholds when they've been obtained. I haven't tested it, but it says that it allows you to have the strongholds when you couldn't normally... Has anyone tested it???
Yes--and I know this exact subject has come up, before. Hopefully, somebody will come along with the answer; barring that, your best bet is to search the archives on "stronghold." Lots of false positives on that word, I'm afraid.

Not sure, @Molotvir, but I think that possibility was eliminated with an official patch.

At one time you were also able to grab De'Arnise if you were any kind of fighter, then dual class to a mage and take the Planar Sphere for your home, sweet home. But I know the patch killed this ...

Can you have another strongold if you are kicked from your original one?

What the question says. For instance, say that you accepted Nalia's offer and got the fighter stronghold. Right after that, if you raise enough taxes, you will be kicked out (or you can wait till you do ALL of the stronghold miniquests and THEN raise the taxes and get yourself kicked). At that point ...
I think maybe something else was going on with this character. For one, the high Con regeneration is 1/hour at Con 20, and increases by 1 for every point above 20 to 6/hour at 25.

Also, regen rates don't stack in the game *except* when the regen rates are the same. If you had a ring ...
Strange question coming from BP; I thought BP was pretty familiar with the game. The explanations may be a little unclear, so here's a direct and obvious explanation:

The CON hitpoint gain only affects the first nine levels.

However, the CON bonus does NOT affect level-ups, it ...

What bonuses does constitution give other than gaining more hit points?

Sure, I got the manual and I read it and I know what the description says and I also know how consitution effects the hit points gained for fighters for the first 9 levels.

My question is: Does a high constitution do anything for you in the game other than get you more hit points per level? Does it ...

Hehe, I like this ending. Finally a happy ending for people who like to play evil characters. I didn't like the fact that while the the game gave you the option of playing evil, it also strongly "encouraged" you to play the good side. Furthermore, all the endings for the evil NPCs were bad endings ...

Regardless of the amount of XP, the maximum level you can reach in Baldur's Gate II is level 50. This is basically hardcoded into the game and hence it is not possible to get around it (if you try to exceed level 50 with some kind of hack, you end up being level -1).

Regardless, level 50 is ...
