I think that in Lower Dorn's Deep when you found that armor it was a random item. Maybe you can buy it at the shops.

I was just wondering, are they working on more add ons to Heart of Winter and Icewind Dale or did the editors of the games stop working on improving Icewind Dale??

It took me a while but I went through the game solo with a level 30 cleric dwarf both HoW and ID. That's why I found the White Dragon the hardest while Belheift was EASY. Even with his golems. The hardest person of AD&D games was Drizzt in BG: TotSC.

I was just wondering, which boss did you find the hardest? Belheift (boss of Icewind Dale) or the white dragon (boss of Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter)?
I found the White Dragon of Heart of Winter the hardest cause the lizard minions back her up.

Well what levels are they? Do they have bad armor and weapons on them? Otherwise, no.

When you go to the 1st level of Gloomfrost and meet the blind smith, you'll have the ability of creating several of items. I created one and it had a special ability of Storm Shell 1/day. Does anyone know what it does?
