If you do steal the gems from the Balmora mages guild, don't ever approach that mage for bartering or enchantment jobs. If she sees any gems in your possession, she'll attack, drawing any other mages who overhear the fight into it. If you kill the head of that guild, there's no way to complete the ...

I'm not sure how wise this is, but there's tons of money in it.

I practice alchemy and am at a point in the main quest when a lot of the things you need "cured" don't effect me, so I have lots of reagents that make nothing but potions with negative effects or positive effects that I don't need.

I ...

I'd noticed that too, but thought it was just something wrong with how one of the reagents was coded. I know you can have multiple "restores" and "drains" in a potion. Wonder why "fortify" got singled out?

I don't use fortify potions much, except fortifying intelligence before making potions. I ...

Thanks JesterKing. I'm still not sure about the mail thing; people don't even acknowledge I have it. Not "glad it's in good hands" but "yeah it was stoled right outta this office." Maybe I need to poke around the dialog options more.

Does this sound glitchy to you?

I have Morrowind on PC and XBox and have noticed a few things that seem weird on my PC version. Just wanted to see if you guys think there's something glitchy going on.

1. The main thing that makes me think there's a glitch is no one from the Balmora Thieves Guild would tell me anything about who ...

I currently have two characters, both Imperial dudes and both essentially bards. One on XBox and one on PC. Keeping their story lines straight is so tough there's no way I could play more than two while still working the main quest.

Later, for role-playing the main quest, I wanna run a Dunmer witch ...

I have the game on both systems. I like XBox handset controls TONS UPON TONS better than the mouse/keyboard thing (My left pinkie is permanently clenched in a little hook from holding the CTRL key down half the night). It's especially better in a fight, I have a tough time stabbing at the ...

Thanks for the tip. (I've been waiting for the movie or graphic novel of Pilgrim's Path to come out)

I'm thinking I might by a crate of raising force and leave it somewhere around the temple for the purpose.

I've wondered if maybe using the skooma pipe instead of the alembic or retort or whatever would make potions using moon sugar any better. I haven't tried it yet; I keep leaving moon sugar on the floors of pawn shops and general merchandisers all over Morrowind. Probably not, but you'd think there's ...

Maybe this shouldn't be here, since an NPC did say it, but it was hilarious.

I'd gone to the corner club in Balmora to kill the "bad people" I was sent after. I'd killed the guy upstairs several days before, so went down to the basement, killed that woman without attracting attention from the three ...

No, I've got nothing against mods. I've just been checking out the modless game before I mess with it and digesting the input I've been getting form y'all and my local MW-playing friends on what mods I'd get the most out of.

I saw a screen shot from one mod that put a nice house on that little ...

I'm pretty new and the only place I use regularly is Rolen Hlaalo's old place. I'd much rather step over a dead body in my own place than leave all my stuff in some guild hostel.

If that two-story tower at the mage's guildhall in Caldera had a hammock, I might move there.

I tried to set up an ...
