Write Debug Mode=1 in baldur.ini.
Load the game, press shift+T(This will speed up time in baldur gate's world).
If nothing happens, try leave the building, still nothing, then try alt+T again.

I've had the same bug, and the speed-up time really helped me.

You do get his stuff. Unless you disentigrate or petrify him i.e. However as I recall, Yoshimo has a pretty bad AI when he betrays you (i.e. he wont backstab - use potions etc.) But if you haven't, why don't you just dual him to fighter right before you enter the Asylum?

Happened to me too. But are you sure you can't go to underdark? Because, that's what I did, grabbed the key and traveled.

But here's a tip; ALWAYS keep the original save game.
With the original save game you can always regret.
And then - knock your self out, try whatever you want to.

Because, when you get a über high level mage, you can do timestop, black blade of disaster (A really wast long sword), and that, right the right Thac0, you can do some serious killing in timestop. Else just go ...

Well, as swashbuckler, you only get 1 trap (A simple piece of fair damage i.e.) and as cleric... well, symbol; ( ) and Glyph of Warding are... mm, dunno, kind of traps.

I assume it's only annoying, due to your game loss. Next time, just withdraw the 'save' map, out to your desktop or anything alike, and then, after you've reinstalled, you just "deposit" again. Think of it as a bank. ;)

Ahh, you can't do Kensai/mage/thief. It's either Kensai/Mage or Kensai/Thief.
I prefer Kensai/Thief, that little bastard can do some serious tank and be able to show some serious power, if you have ToB installed, due to "Use Any Item". :)

However, you CAN have a multiclass *Fighter/mage/thief, but ...

Tactics mod changes alot of encounters. And I dont recall TDD being compatible with any tactics mod. I'm using Big Picture my self (That includes TDD mod) and I've found out that not even all the weimers ease of ...

Mm, that file, gets screwed up by "overmodding" your game. But usually i just get that "Permission denied" to dialog.tlk, and then i just install the Baldursdash (ToB only) Fixpack and... wuuuush it works. But, since you've been told that the file can't be found, hmm.
