Khartos the Wise

In your journal it says to ask around in Eirulan to find out about Khartos the Wise, the guy in the Mythrilhorn quest. I know you can find him later in the game without any advice, but is there really anybody in Eirulan who tells you about him, or was that just a red herring? I feel like I've talked ...

Fifth Morden Tower? spoiler?

Hey, did anyone else notice that in the Southern Greilyn Jungle near the teleporter there is another Morden Tower that you can't reach? There are also some friendly Morden up on the hill top nearby.
Is this part of some later quest, or is it just put there to frustrate those of us who like to be ...

Do the computers not work at all, or is there just no option for unlocking the doors? (can you access the security cameras and things like that?)

Also, with the sith passcard, I think you should be able to just walk up to the prison door and open it.

hope that helps. maybe if you can give us more ...

Are you on Tatooine or Dantooine? If you're still on Dantooine, then you probably just have to level up again - when you chose the Guardian class it should have immediately leveled you right there and then. You don't get access to the powers and abilities until you manually select your powers.
If ...

At least in the PC version, there is a Bondar crystal found on Dantooine in one of the crystal formations in the crystal cave (but no violet crystal, as has been pointed out).
Also, there is a Sigil crystal found on the body of Nemo in the ancient ruins with the Star Map.
In addition, there is at ...

As far as I've heard, the conversation on the Star Forge where you declare your love for each other is the last piece in the romance, which seems like a good enough ending to me (though more is always good too).
Has anyone else heard differently? Is there really some sort of added cut scene at the ...

Also, if you throw in Evil Juhani, you should probably also add Evil Bastila, who was much cooler than Juhani, though not quite as cool as Malak or Calo.

One more thing, what about the party npcs? Of all the evil characters in the entire game, HK47 has to be the best, and Canderous is probably the ...

My vote is for Calo as well.
I mean, Malak is very cool too, especially when you get to see him without the silly collar thing he has clamped around his neck and head (I kind of wish they had explained the story behind that)
However, right from the first time you see Calo in the Cantina, doing his ...

For what it's worth, there's a datapad you find someplace that explains the purpose of the transformer - if you get the big bad droid to stand near it, its shields will go down, so you get to the point of attacking it directly without wasting shield disruptor charges, computer spikes or time and hit ...

I had similar problems when playing KOTOR on a very low end machine, although it sounds like yours is better than the one I was using. Just out of curiosity, how much RAM do you have?
One way to determine if there are problems is to use the scan hardware feature in the "configure" utility that you ...

I actually ended up taking both lines, which was sort of inconvenient because it meant that I skipped over the stun-droid line, which is incredibly useful overall.

Like you, I was a former scoundrel and I was keen on using sneak attacks on stunned enemies, however, as you'll probably see shortly ...

[QUOTE=Cuchulain82]Ha! LOL! I agree. The really confusing thing for me was the placement of some of the items in the game- ie- you get the best set of light armor (Fiber armor), medium armor (Calo Nord's), and even heavy armor (Casius Fett's) way early in the game. The Fiber armor is so early it is ...

I agree that the items do seem a little overpowered in comparison to pretty much everything else in the game, but that's what elite item shops are for.

Also, I have to respectfully disagree that Canderous is best with two pistols - if you upgrade either the assault gun or the heavy repeater with ...

Yeah, there's no ammunition or energy reserve or anything, so you aren't penalized for just continuously firing the whole time. So go nuts with that trigger finger until it falls off. Also, the tip that Zenemij gave about immediately firing forwards randomly at the beginning is really helpful - you ...

yeah, the Yavin Base also has the best suits of armor (the exoskeletons, for example) as well as an amazingly powerful vibrosword and a couple of ridiculous repeating blasters that will make Zaalbar or Canderous every bit as dangerous as your Jedi characters. There are a couple of other very useful ...

A second (better) Carth's Blaster

So I just completed the Leviathan and when I went back into my inventory, I had mysteriously acquired a second "Carth's Blaster"
More importantly, unlike the bug that duplicates Bendak's blaster, this is a different blaster than the first one. The basic stats are the same (2-7 damage, no attack ...

Oh, and as for starting stats for a future consular, I guess it sort of depends on what class you're starting off with (most people would probably pick scout, though going by the book and doing scoundrel works well too)
Personally, I'd say something like str12, dex14, con10, int10, wis16, cha14 ...

You can tell if you are indeed fully light or dark when the background of your portrait in the character screen changes to lightning/rays of white light. You should be able to see the bonus if it is active.
