your side characters also tend to interact on the field, instead of just on the ship this time, and some are pretty funny.
Off topic I know, but I particually like Carth and Canderous's interaction with each other... very amusing....
My party is weak all 'round, but I think I can muscle through. I was just wondering if anyone had an easier way to do it.

*Edited to add* Apparently I was at the Chieftain fight and hadn't noticed him because of the two dozen or so other Gnolls. I was so low on supplies, health, and ...

In my opinion it's all about personal preferences, what you want to get out of your character.
In my first play through I went with a soldier/ guardian build, since then I've alway's used scoundrel/ sentinel build's, for the extra skill point's + the added bonus of being able to repair, unarm mines ...

Personnally Ive always prefered to play RPG type game's (NWN, BG Diablo) on PC for obvious reasons :)

Game's which have more of an arcade feel to them but are on both PC and consoles, like Need for speed, Halo etc etc should be played on the consoles and kept away from the PC (IMO anyway)
But ...

Unless you have the skills already, I wouldn't bother trying to build up on them for it. Maybe he'll remember somthing eventually on his own...
. What I was doing was, I got the gnolls clumped together, I had the PC (F/M/C) use a Scroll of Color Spray which knocked out all but a few of them, and everyone went medieval on their arse while they were knocked out.
As the Gnoll's generally stay close together I can see ...

You can restore HK's memory 4 times throughout the game and it all comes down to repair skill.
For instance, you need to have 5 (I think) points in repair for HK to regain a part of his memory.
then 11 point's (I think) to do it again
Then it's something like 17 or 18 point's to do it again.

If you ...

Ive also always done the stronghold before the mines (even on my most recent solo)
The most efficent way to do it is to use the steps ;)
Rather than letting yourself get swamped by all enemies, keep all chars half way up a set of the steps (spellcasters at back with tanks up front), then send one ...

If you cant open the chest's in the smithie's by bashing them open, why dont you have one of your wizard's (assuming you have a wizard in your party) learn and cast a Knock spell on them???
You can unlock any locked chest in the game with this
(Unless the chests are magically locked of course)

I solo'd a chaotic neutral gnome fighter/ Illusionist through BG, ToSc and now I'm taking him through SoA and ToB.
One word describe's it... BRILLIANT!!!
He does what he want's, when he want's, no argument's, and with a charisma of 6, it's not very wise to tell him otherwise ;)
