My favourite 3 person party was:

Me - elven sorcerer
Human ranger(8)/cleric
Human swashbuckler(10)/fighter

This covers all the basics -
1 magic user (IMHO the coolest and most powerful character ever, simply unbelievable from lvl 20 on) (needs high wisdom for Wish)
1 healer (with druid spells ...

I hate what they've done to the specialty mage's opposition schools in HOW!

My originally brilliant conjurer in IWD was destroyed by HOW - he can't cast any cool invocation spells like fireball or cloudkill ... does anyone know how to revert to the old tables in IWD without removing the expansion ...

What does the Armour Penalty Check on shields do? I looked through the manual and can't find anything about it. Also, does a shield affect the number of attacks a monk gets?

Is a sorcerer a suitable class for a beginner to Neverwinter Nights? Or would a wizard with perhaps a level of rogue be better? I have had quite a lot of experience playing a BG2 sorc and find them very powerful and fun to play.

What's your favourite class? Generally I like to play a magic user.

I'm in chapter 6 and have found the mage Sikra (20 nature/38 combat). I also have Nadia the archer lvl 38. Do you think Nadia is worth replacing with Sikra? Do mages get better/more useful as the game progresses? I already have 3 fighters, 2 archers, 1 combat, 1 nature and a mule.

Is there any way to force a dialouge in ToB? Call me impatient but the game's just too short to get all the dialogue, and I really would like to actually finish Jahiera's romance for once, or see Sarevok turning good. Is there possibly a CLUAConsole cheat? Thanks alot.

I definately followed all the dual-class rules, but unfortunately I think ranger kits can't be dualled although the normal ranger can-I've tried it and it works fine. Is there a reason for this or is it just a mistake on the publisher's behalf? Is it anything to do with PnP rules, possibly?

You could try to CTRL Q the enemy into your party so you can check their stats, saves and AC. Generally in ToB I find the enemies' THAC0's so low that only a really low low AC makes any difference. I counter this with Hear D'alis up front wearing a ring of free action, stone skin/mirror image on, in ...

What's your opinion? I'm just finishing SoA (again) and am thinking should I swap Korgan for Sarevok. In your opinion who kicks more ass? At the minute I have Korgy dual wielding Stonefire and Frostreaver. Should I get Saravok using Ravager if I pick him? Tahanks.

Improved bard song is available to the blade as a high level ability. This song gives even better bonuses than the skalds song. It also means if you want a bit of power gaming you can move to the front line with a stone skin, go into defensive spin and play the song. This combined gives -20 to AC ...

He doesn't have any boots of speed on him. I drank potions of master thievery until pick pocket skill was 280 (cap?) but all I got was potions and rings. Does anyone know the location of other pairs of boots of speed?
