I'm doing the evil side for the first time and chose to side with Bodhi, I've completed the whole Aran Linvail theives guild quest at the top of the Dock's map, what I'm wondering is if you can get into the other theives hideout area in the south of the Dock's map ...

argumentative parties

well, I've only been through the game 1 full time, TOB included, and about 1/2 way through SOA 2x. Someone posted about having the argumentative party, eg: Cernd, Jan, Nalia, maybe Korgan for a tank, weird challenging PC class,

uh, I assume you checked to see if she has armor on,... there is a druid spell that cancels spell abilities temporarily, ... but otherwise I have no idea

casting

oh come on, we all know that Danny Devito (think Wag the Dog, or Get Shorty) would be a great Jan Jansen, though I can't see him casting spells, just the making fun of everyone, and crazy stories that have no point.

so I'm at the end of SOA, but, I just got spell strike and dragon's breath for my sorc. and they totally rock. I use my sorc for mainly getting rid of protection spells on enemy mages so that my fighters can actually harm them or for big area of effect spells like fireball, ice storm, chain ...

yeah, I decided to pick up Anomen at the beginning and got his quest over with, so that his wisdom increases and he quits a bunch of the annoying talk.

Nearing the end of the game I'm finding it hard to decide whether to keep him back to cast big area of effect priest spells or run in a wack ...

can't do the cheat keys as it is my husband's work computer (ahem) so no potentially funny download programs allowed on it.

about the pickpocketing option, I'd have to kill the first lich then, and face the demi before thiefing him eh, that's the problem I ran into where I couldn't kill the first ...

ooh, Yoshimo as fighter/theif rocks, frind of mine is running an evil party with Yoshimo as dueled and he accounts for a full 1/3 of kills.

Jan makes a good theif, no special traps though :confused: and I use him to great effect as a mage who cancells invisibility and illusion spells on enemy ...

whoooa, what an awesome Jan move, so fitting somehow for the little sneak that he is. I totally forgot about pickpocketing the ring. I may go back and try that one again, since I forgot about finishing Jahira's harper plot and Keldorn's wife plot.

any idea on how to get Mazzy back though?

playing BG II with a chaotic good sorcerer plus minsc, jan, anomen, valgyr, and mazzy-- and have to say that so far mazzy is more of an ass kicker than minsc in battles, esp with that lay on hands ability. I'm only in act 2/3 so far, so am wondering if anyone here has played with her in the party ...
