Interesting point Gobatcha, I actually had to kill Umbra twice. The first time I killed her, she dropped her sword and it went flying somewhere, probably fell into a crack in the architecture or something. (Might have been as a result of me slingin' fireballs too, which tend to send objects flying ...

You make the statement of "Fun to Find but Why?" I in turn ask the question of "Why not?" (We are still talking about an RPG game right?? Usually RPG gamers like to find every aspect of the game. Shrug) Why complete this or any other quest for that matter? :) I guess when it comes down to some of ...

To answer your initial question Desperado, defeating Umbra early on in the game does not prevent you from completing any other Daedric Quests later on. To clarify that statement, Clavicus Vile requests that you retrieve Umbra's Sword for him during his particular Deadric Quest. When you approach the ...

I am currently a level 34 High Elf Mage.
Aside from encumberance issues (and role playing factors), is there any particular reason why Light Armour is being recommended over that of something stronger? I have been wearing Daedric for quite some time now, and is the strongest armor with the highest ...

Gotta go with the blade. :)
I have a particular fondness for both my Daedric Longsword and my Daedric Warhammer that I have enchanted with a +30 Damage Health Sigil. Both are quite devastating and are not affected by an enemies immunity to Fire, Frost, or Shock etc. (I.E. You don't have to switch ...

I'm sort of confused by this post because, Fathis Aren never actually aggro'ed on me when I went to his tower. His guardians did and I killed them no problem. After killing them, I then was able to go talk to Fathis, take his arrow from the chest (that was right next to him) and everything. It was ...

This was a suprisingly tough fight for me as well. The three thieves that come to loot the shop are incredibly fast and aggresive. I spent several reloads trying to complete this mission. My mage character got his butt kicked several times. I ended up beating it by running up stairs to one of the ...

If I remember correctly, the caves are key, and going through those caves will bring you out to different locations on the pathway leading up to the main door to the tower. If memory serves, there are a couple of doors named "Nether Tunnels". Make sure you check all of them to see if they exit out ...

Actually, just to clarify the previous statement.
If you are trying to become a vampire and have contracted Poraphic Hemophelia, allow 3 game days to pass (this can happen over the course of playing, or as previously stated you could Sleep for 3 straight days, or even Wait for 3 straight days), and ...

Actually from what I have seen, there is very little, if any conflict from joining 1 guild individually, or all of the guilds simultaneously. The only thing that I have seen that may tend to be in issue for you is further on down the line in the Thieves Guild Questline in relation to the Mages Guild ...

I'm curious if something like this happened to me. I had just been sent to complete the Ambush Quest in the Mages Guild Questline. Somewhere in the process of being issued the task and subsequently making it to the shrine, I managed to get kicked out of the Mages Guild. Unfortunately for me, I didn ...
