I don't consider it cheating to use a piece of equipment that has a good plot behind it. The Githyanki are widely known for their use of VERY sharp swords etc. The Vorpal blade represents that as a sword so sharp it can cut through armour and necks with ease. Thus the good benefits of it. I your ...

The idea of a mage or priest is the best i reckon, indoctrination into your where you live and "following your adoptive fathers foot steps", for all that however i have never played a pure mage in the game.

The reason is thay in the game the powers of a mage and a cleric are limited by the weakness of their own body. Spellcasting at that level is a major effort and the lack of high level spells reflects this. Should mages/clerics gain more and more level 9 spells then they would be too powerful in the ...

All the long lived races, Dwarfs elves etc, would be mere children at age 20. Personally i have to agree wit you that anyone who has lived in the Libary of Candledeep would be a high wisdom mage/cleric/paladin. Then again Imoen lived there too and she was a thief, i bet she was popualar with the ...

I like Mazzy, when she is high level she can get cool weapon specilisation in bows and long swords. Give her a decent bow and long sword, and give her the best armour she will cause between 17 and 21 damage a round. She rules.

10% is not very much, its only on in ten and that, in my experience, is often the most pathetic enemies in the game. Goblins, or those small pathetic spiders.

I don't think he says that he could never get the hang of using two weapons, he just expressed doubt that Drizzt would use two long blades usefully when Mooshie provides him with weapons.

He was also a cool archer, even though he was blind. Yes he fought with sword and shield, along with a helmet, with an owl emblazoned on them.

This is true, but if you are lucky you can get through the game with these characters without any fighting. I have been though SoA with Minsc, Edwin, Keldorn and Viconia in my party. The trick is to work out when they will fight/argue/leave (this is all timed in days or after some quests) and avoid ...
