If thats true then the biggest plus of the Vorpal sword is gone.

The idea of a mage or priest is the best i reckon, indoctrination into your where you live and "following your adoptive fathers foot steps", for all that however i have never played a pure mage in the game.

The reason is thay in the game the powers of a mage and a cleric are limited by the weakness of their own body. I like Mazzy, when she is high level she can get cool weapon specilisation in bows and long swords. Give her a decent bow and long sword, and give her the best armour she will cause between 17 and 21 damage a round. She rules.
