Fall NV : does anyone know where the missing laser pistol is located in the Brotherhood of steel side quest. I am at a large rock outcrop not far from the comms facility(satellite dishes etc),with a skeleton nearby,but i don't know if thats where its supposed to be.

Did an incredibly stupid thing, returned with the heartstone gem, cast an area effect spell at the neo orogs,but killed a villager by accident. How do i get tehm to stop attacking me and carry on with the quest????

s'ok got it sorted, just re loaded from an earlier save ...

I am currently playing the 2 disc version with 1.1 patch on my hp g61 410 laptop running win 7 home premium 64 bit and have not encountered any problems at all.... maybe am just lucky though....

I managed to patch it by removing the disc from the drive,.fallout 3 shouln't then load.

Have you looked in the quest logs, usually there is a notification box pops up saying something about the new quests ie a strange door appears for shivering isles content etc. Then the quests appear in the quest logs.

There was Brotherhood Of Steel on the origional xbox. It wasn't to alot of peoples liking. More like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 with guns!

I don't know about ps3 version, but i had the same problem with pc version, i have all the achievements i achieved after signing into gmaes for windows live,but not those before;even when i have moved my saves to the correct profile folder....

So am guessing not in case of the ps3 version

If it was your only save,then yes you will need to start again . I would suggest saving often rather than saving over the same save again and again and that way if a save gets corrupted then you just go back to the save before.

Does anyone know where the dunwich building is? I have the explorer perk and can't see it.I've searched the forum but, but got two results; one about a bobble head and the other about references to social content. The Pointoutlok content gives the map of the building but not is location in capital ...

You could also try running it under compatibility mode for xp,always worth a try

Just push S, then type marvin on the keyboard,exit the status screen and you should see marvin mode in the top left hand corner of the screen

Does your current pc have a pci express graphics slot spare? My current pc had integrated nvidia 7050 which was very poor for playing games. But buying a cheap low end card like ati 4350 allows me to play fallout 3 at 1024 x 768 and looking prettier than my integrated graphics card.
