I agree. I only put 7 levels of barbarian into my guy before switching to fighter. The additional feats make it very worthwhile (not to mention the free heavy armor and tower shield feats which are nothing to scoff at). Especially when you consider that resting is so easy in this game #rages/day ...

This was the hardest fight in the game for me (harder even then the pair of dragons you fight later). In the end I didnt even kill the dragon I just let him beat the hell out of my companions while I ran around and stole all of his loot :D . In relation to Ningengirai's reply, for me the drow merchant had nothing to do with Torio. Rather, I found him as a prisoner of the fire giants (not the prisoners in the first part of hte fire giant map, hes in a cage by himself in the area where the fire giant king is).

for me what happened was all the ore i discovered prior to having hte keep didnt work but anything I discovred after did, so if you find more ore, like near the crystal heart you can report that and it will work.

Well once you're running the keep you have the option of building a temple of the sun soul (or something) in your keep and the master of the temple offers monk training of some sort but I couldnt make him train Khelgar. He kept saying that he could only train someone on the way to becoming a monk ...

Grobnars quest comes toward the end, you have to introduce him to those two wierd gnomes in the town whose name I forget. Its the north most one I think. The one where you go to help prove your innocence in the trial.

I never use Qara so I couldnt tell you about hers.

Luck of heroes is awesome, I always take it with a human and frequently with other races too.

Isnt there a way to convert bigger ones to little ones and vice versa? Try searching the forums cause I thought I remember there being a thread that said something like that.

I dont think so but its easy to check, I'm pretty sure the character window lists your spell resistance.

I've only ever played 1.03 and I have no idea who Simmy is so I'm also guessing that quest is gone.

If you've gotten to crossroad keep theyll be at the keep not the tavern. if you havent gotten to the keep yet...well I do remember a few points in the game where for plot reasons your NPCs are taken away so you could try just carrying on for a 10-15 minutes to see if you're at one of those points ...

I'm pretty sure you actually got it in the graveyard from the shadow priest. It's just a minor plot item, I'm pretty sure you dont have to keep it.

Ahh. Well then I guess I bought the game after the 1.03 patch because they were never perma haste for me.

One pair of bracers you get early on gives armor bonus and lets you cast haste 4 times a day which is just about as good as perma haste plus it casts on your party too.

Well in nwn1 I found the best and simplest build to be a human fighter/weapon master that focuses on a weapon with a high crit threat range. I've not played nwn2 as much as the first game yet obviously, but I'd still say this is a great way to start. I know my next char is going to be a falchion ...

I agree, my barbarian/berserker/fighter/nw9 (yea thats right, four classes) focuses on bastard swords and hes way better off with bloodletter than with the silver sword. I thought about sticking it on one of my caster henchmen but when you play with D&D hardcore rules the shardstorm hits you ...

One would think that in the twenty minutes I spent trying to figure out what the hell was going on I wouldve at least once tried clicking on the fog. Guess not . Thanks for the help.

So I'm in the big stone room with the blots of black fog. I've killed all the monsters but I cant figure out what to do now. The only stairs I see, aside from the ones I came in on, are blocked by the black fog. Does anyone remember what I'm supposed to do? Thanks.
