Any use for those seldom used nature magic dd spells?

Though i found lightning a dissapointment when it came to dmg and such, but apparently the thing does damage to any enemy it passes through on its way to its target. Combined with its low mana usage it seems to not suck as hard as i orginally thought (would still rather use flash for higher dmg and ...

why so many mules?
when you're solo just transmute'n stuff gives you more than enough cash for the best gear.

i'm solo'n with a nature mage (30) who's got 10 in combat magic (for mana chant, practically impossible to play w/o it for a solo caster) and i've only got two mules (who i'm seriously ...

Pet dmg counts toward that magic school's skill increase. Its the main way group nature mages level, and the reason why they get such good melee oriented pets. I've went through many skill levels with my solo nature mage by just chain healing my pet while it killed. I could also just do it the lazy ...

Solo is possible and fun, but its alot easier with a group. two healer/nukers and two hitters will run through ds at an obscene rate on normal. Solo play usually involves both heavy potion use and/or a great pair of running shoes.
When dealing with inventory in solo play i say transmute any and ...

Its definately possible to solo. A popular way i've heard about was folks going pure melee till they get really high str(40s i think) then work on a magic school (have'n high hp and defense makes level'n spell levels on high hp monsters easy).
I'm do'n a nature mage (with a little in combat so i ...

2 pure tanks(can make due with just 1) and 2 nature mages who have around level 5 skill in combat magic(for low level explosive powder). With all the healing at low levels you're pretty much unkillable and at high levels you not only get pretty good pets but a spell that lets you use all the cool ...

all magic levels on the damage you inflict.
No matter if its nature or combat. If you want to level up nature i suggest you use a combination of pet summons(their dmg go to increaseing your nature magic), damage spells like flash(set a quick key to healing spells so you don't just stand around when ...

A standard high level fight for me would be a chain contengency with 3 horrid wiltings and some skele warriors to play cleanup with whatever was lucky/strong enough to survive. I'd try my best do do all the casting from a projected image.

For low/mid level battles i'd use mislead and either send ...

I don't think people solo the game for the challenge, just a change of pace. Often you get to such a high level so quickly the game is often made alot easier than if you had a full or partial party(except for beastmasters, its possible but they blow... hard). Often only chapters 2 and 3 are ...

Get Celestial Fury ASAP. You can get it pretty darn early, all ya need are some potions of invis and a katana for good backstabs.

Its in the temple district, in the guarded compound. For the first floor a few monsters will spawn when you get close the stairs ...

Spoiler

As for how ya lost it, i'd say it was prolly in a dream sequence when you're in the asylum. Other than the tears of bhaal thingy at the end of the game i don't think you can get it back. If you have TOB installed you can get it raised a point in Watchers keep.

If i were ...

For healing you only need potions. All the potion only vendors are pickpocketable so drink a potion, use gloves of pickpocketing and rob them blind in safety. Its alot easier if you have TOB installed so can buy a potion case from Watchers keep vendors. Most of the time you'll be easily able to make ...

Arrows of biting seems to offset that annoying regen factor they have. The silver sword's insta kill effect is good also. :p Was able to kill one once with my fighter/mage dual by bounce'n lightning bolts and melee'n. Finger of death is pretty effective for those with suck melee. Just give korgan a ...

Aerie would, but the dual classed one would have to get the holy symbol before you dual it, but... thats a butload of xp to get, but i guess its doable if you use shadowkeeper to up your xp.

Hmm, i wonder if you can use holy symbols from other clerics if you have the right alignment...
