In reality, 9/2 attacks is a fraction, so its' decimal form would be 4.5 attacks per round. The reason you get five attacks is because that is the cap for non Whirlwind or Improved Haste augmented attacks, though there is at least one exception to that rule.

Oh its a FRACTION , that actually ...

How Attacks Per Round works?

Hey, I have been playing this game for years now but I still don't quite understand how attacks per round work.

Take my warrior/rogue for example:

5 points into katana 4 points into longsword. Wearing nothing except for a normal katana, main hand, and a normal longsword, offhand, I have 9/2 ...

banned, please use paragraphs, it makes reading long winded posts much more comfortable on the eyes and less of a strain, especially with the text being a light tan color against a brown background.

also there is a bug ingame that lets shifters wear some dragon scale armor, like shadow, blue, and white. Not sure about red.

A WS-> thief is not bad, but a multiclassed F/T is way better, because, frankly, permanent slashing&piercing resistance of 85%, crushing 127% and missile 90% is way better than anything else.

Besides, the spellcasting penalty lasts for a very short time(2 or 3 rounds) and doesn't affect powerful ...

Wow.

I'm actually thinking now of playing a Wizard Slayer to level 13 (not sure what his MR will be, but it'll help), and equipping much of the stuff that you list here. I'll also wear Bracers AC 3 with Jan's armor for an okay AC but great resistance to physical damage. If I can, I'll also be ...

Just make a custom Cleric. Either a cleric/fighter multiclass or a beserker/cleric dual class character. I prefer to dual class myself. Then go dual wielding warhammers and you are set to go.

yah.... but if you are going to farm xp, wouldn't it be easier and faster to simple use a console code and just give yourself the xp you need? Seems kind of silly to farm xp in a game like Baldur's gate.

personally I have been playing around with a berserker/cleric build. I am just trying to find a good level "sweet spot" to dual class over. Right now im working with a 20/30 berserker/cleric.

I don't recommend playing a kensai/mage, you'll have equipment restrictions (no gauntlets of extraordinary specialisation for example) and the dualing period will be painful. A multiclass fighter/mage will be superior at the beginning and at the end. You'll still be able to cast high level spells ...

Good to see people are posting here.

Poke0: a Shapeshifter/Mage is not a legit class, but would be powerful nonetheless. The most powerful shapeshifting options are availible to the mage through the Shapeshift spell, so it makes Greater Werewolf obsolete.

Inspired by the most recent Kensai/Thief thread, I decided to make this one. Why? Well for no other reason that each person here has their own playing style and has experimented with builds other people haven't, so I thought that it'd be interesting to share these builds. I'm primarily looking at ...

Mikirie: Spell check is your friend; Use complete sentences and proper grammar. Also for the action point bug, you don't need to rest at all. True, another benifit that I have seen as far as werewolf (unsure about other shifts) i is that after dispelling the paws is that the attacks you recieve in werewolf form seem to stack with how many attacks you get with just your weapon out, 9 attacks per round unhasted is pretty godly.

Yep, that's what I've been wondering. Are proficiencies active while you're shapechanged into a weapon using form and do those forms actually use weapons. I mean would five points in spears help while in a salamander form or would a Monk's unarmed skill help while in an Iron Golem form?

Thanks in ...
