I have finished Icewind Dale and am ready to move on to Heart of Winter. I already have this installed. How do I get to that part of the game? Once I killed off P. I got the credits. Do I have to start over?

LOL No..I had one of those and really did not like it. This is the kind that has an infrared light on the bottom where it would normally have a ball. I love it so much better than the other kinds with the balls. I suppose it could have a problem, but it works fine in other programs and worked great ...

Thanks I will try that. I am using a Logitech infra-red mouse..you know the kind that doesnt have a ball...maybe that is the problem..

well the computer is new and it came with xp installed, so i dont think i will be doing all the work that it takes to change systems just for a game.

Downloaded the patch and no help, so i guess I will just live with it. But it really makes the game not nearly as much fun.

hmm..I am running xp and I thought that it defrags itself, but I will try that. My system is a Intel P4 with a 2 gig processor, 512 ram and 80 gig harddrive..so I think that I have enough disk space. I will also dl that patch. Thanks for the link. I will let you know if it helped any.

I dont know if this is the right place to ask about this, but here goes ....I played Shadow of Ames and the game graphics were great...had no problem at all...now I have installed Throne of Bhaal on the same computer and my mouse does not have near the control that I had before. It is almost as if ...

Usually it happens when I am trying to have them cast a restore spell or a raise dead spell. These spells have worked with both in the past and now for some reason have stopped. I will check and see if there is a miscast.

For some reason 2 of my partys spells have started to fail quite regularly. I get a "Oops I'm sorry" from them and then nothing...Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Where is the room that has the eggs so I can try to switch them? I have been in the main room at the Temple, but my key will not open that door (if that is where they are)

Me again with a new question :) I am now at Bodhi's and have staked the 1st 2 vamipires..nothing happened so I read up that there was suppose to be 3 of them. Where is the 3rd coffin? I have looked at all 3 coffins in the room and only 2 give me the little sword to kill. What do I need to do to fix ...
