I'm eager to try some/all of these, but wonder if it will make the game extremely hard as to be virtually impossible

I've decided to play an evil party (this will be the first time in ANY game) on my first run through, it will be a "mercenary party from the Underdark that has recruited a couple of other extra worthy evil members" consisting of :

Drow Sorceress (and leader of the group)

Drow Fighter (possibly ...

I will multi some of my party (if I have them) such as :

Rogues : only use them for finding/disarming traps so when proficient here I will add some wizard or fighter levels

Druids : more useful IMO when multi'd with fighter

Rangers : only useful taking a level of ranger (may multi with rogue ...

I will have ONE of my fighter types (or even a rogue with a level of ranger taken) use dual wielding but that is all...

The above stats are the same as NWN and you only get the -2/-2 if using a light weapon in the offhand as mentioned above...

Still trying...but no luck!

I ahve 512meg SDRam and a 1Ghz Thunderbird and the game runs fine at high resolutions and all details on/max.

Basically when I updated to patch 1.21 I noticed one of the fixes was "reparing broken saves", I was skeptical but sure enough it worked for me.

Have not updated to 1.22 yet, and will not do until it's final/proper/non-beta release ...

I was thinking of having a Drow mercenary party sent from the Underdark but then thought - will there be enough Drow portraits?

I have a feeling there'll only be 2 - 1 for male and 1 for female.

I also have a feeling the same problem may come up with other races and subraces...

Well, I took the advice and re-started from an earlier save, all is well now and have just defeated the Balor Lord - not as difficult as I thought it would be when it appeared (I am a level 10 fighter and level 5 wizard).

I don't know to be honest, I didn't really understand the puzzle (and I don't like cheating) so I was just throwing all of the powders in one at a time.

The first "flash" I got with the first correct combination I thought was the solving of the puzzle, took me ages to realise it wasn't!

The first 2 "mixes" worked, but something's gone wrong as it says the last two powders I have are still yellow!!!!!

Ok, so far I've been reading all the bugs experienced and have so far been lucky I've not encountered any - UNTIL NOW!

I ahve got as far as the opening room (reception area) of the Host Tower in Luskan, only to find my save games will now not load. None of them! Not even the one's before this point ...

Just completed that as my first quest with an elf fighter3/wizard1 (actually it was fighter2/wizard1 before the battle began) and have Mr Thundergallows as a henchman. No familiar's or summoned creatures (don't have the right spells yet)

Wasn't too difficult - took 3 attempts.

Ermmmm, pass I do not know as he never changed alignment in the game I played with Sarevok in my party....
