I started ToB last night and forgot to pick special abilities (greater Whirlwind, etc.). (I have not played for a while and forgot about this). After levelling up, the interface would not allow me to get back to game because I did not pick any abilities, - so I hit Enter and was able to continue ...

I Installed ToB - Minsc can no longer can wear Armour such as Gorgon Plate plus the +2 Cloak of Protection.

If I remove one of the items - he will not be able to re-equip it. The same holds true for the other characters.

Any idea what the story with this is?

I finished SoA.

1. Can I import my characters when I buy ToB?

I have a few saved games at various points in Chapter 9.

2. Can I go back and get some stuff and some mobs that I missed? If I missed them I hear there are some tools that can help one with that.

Thanks Hesperus - I probably should have read the lengthy description of the armor and I likely would have noticed one is "full plate" while the other is merely "plate".

I am not sure about this.

Gorgon Plate is +4 but results in lower AC than +3 Armor of Hart. Armor of Hart sets base AC to -2 while Gorgon Plate sets base AC to -1. (Full Plate +1 sets base AC to -1 while Full Plate sets it to zero. )

On a related note, Armor of Hart has quite different missile ...

Manual indicates it improves saving throws by +3, but I take the armor off and the numbers don't improve.

I noticed that when I switch armor, I get different piercing/slashing/missile modifiers? What does this mean? If Doomplate +3 gives me the same AC as either +1 Magic Full Plate of ...

I went to visit the leader of the Shadow Thieves guild. I was given some stakes for some coffins and had to stake 3 graves in Bohdi's Tomb (chapter 2).

I staked 2 coffins in the room on the left side of the zone, south of where the Mace drops.

I am fighting. I hit pause. I drink healing potion. I hit hear Gulp. I hit space bar again. Sometimes the potion gets used and HP goes up, other times nothing happens.

My character has looted a bunch of gems and necklaces - aside from the magical necklace that adds another level 2 spell and similar special items - is there any point to keeping them or should I just sell them?

I started 2 rangers with 18 Con (str, dex and wis as well). Same race, same alignment. I think racial enemy may have been different.

One had 86 hit points, the other had 53. 53 seems awful low.

I got through the 1st dungeon and realized I clicked on 2 hand weapons instead of dual wield lol. That plus short bows will cause me to reroll.
