can artis help me reach stat prerequisites?

Likewise, a few ...

Stuck in Dragon's Eye :-(

Interesting. I would imagine that the extra xp on hard level will let your characters grow stronger and so ulitmately it may not be much more difficult than normal level despite the tougher enemies!
Having competed the game a couple of times on normal I will defeinately give 'hard' a go next time ...

Protection against being stunned?
I got beat in the Illithid halls as my people kept getting stunned somehow. I tried casting circle of evil protection and freedom of movment, but these didtn seem to protect me against being stunned! I think dispel magic worked to undo it a couple of times, but then my mage and cleric got caught so ...

thanks for the reply, after original post I ended up going with a weird rogue/fighter/barbarian all-in-one combo. Barbarian speed has its uses but it bugs me when the barbarian bumps into the slower characters, or speeds too far ahead of them, plus the reasons you stated, so Illl give the barb class ...

Glad you bought the game mate, hope you have fun, but did you also get IWD1? if not I strongly recommend it, in some respects it is better than the second game, I find the levels and story of the first game are well designed, including a few superb levels. It also has a deliberatly gentle learnign ...

f you wanted to get through the game with a smaller party, youd have to make sure you still have a few good melee fighters, also very wise to have atleast 1 good archer. Other areas to cover are thievery, knowledge arcana and healing.
Although wizardry is powerful I reckon you coudl actually get ...

What about combining rogues with other classes? I was thinking of adding a few fighter levels to my rogue to beef him up, or maybe ranger but are rangers any good really? I mean whats with that animal tracking business, worth it? or better to go fighter and get more feats... or what about barbarian ...

My favored party is as follows; Basically 3 melee fighters leading the charge, then three weaker units mage/cleric/thief all with ranged weapons.
