Thanks for replies. I actually finished the game with my BM. Had to switch parties and start last chapter again, cause we were dieing a lot. I never tried the bow thing, because wielding some of the available staves gave me much better benefits.
Ended up with my BM, Forgrimm, Traldar and the other ...

Also take this into account: 2 master marksman shots=4 wounds. Plus Traldar's 2H sword with 50% chance of wounds= instant kill ;) (MM takes almost all your Endurance, so its mostly a one per fight event, unless you are loaded with END potions. But well, otherwise, it would make the game too easy :P )

In my past game, with an Elf Ranger as my main, Tindermold grew up in 3 places at my home. In my new game, with an Archer as my main, there is none. Any clues anyone? I was counting on that to make fire arrows

I have a battlemage who immediately runs to melee after her first offensive spell. I want her to remain away from melee. She is in passive/defensive mode.

Is there a merchant with unlimited supply of Leather strips? I have been collecting them since Avestrue. I collected around 300 of them, but later, at a rate of 5 strips per batch of arrows (the good stuff) they are now gone. (yeah I know... If you finish Auralia's Recipe quest, a Leprechaun will take her place at her stall in Ducal City. He has unlimited alcohol supplies at 1D per bottle, if I remember correctly.

... and I complete the 3 first trials and get the golden shield. I can't use the shield and bow at the same time. So how does this affect endgame?

I read in some walkthrough that you need a lvl 6 party. Well I tried with a full lvl 8 party and still got my butt kicked. I have (dang I suck at names) the amazon, the dwarf and the elf with my lvl 8 Pirate. :mad: :mad: :mad:

The D and W mean the same thing (1D6). When they did the English translation, they made the translation from the German W to a D for English, but they only did it on the first one.

1 D6 is an average of 3.5, but could do anywhere from 1 - 6 damage. Your top weapon would do an average damage of 10 ...

What does this mean?
1D+6 (1W+7 with Strength 18)

And which is better? the above or

2D+2 (2W+4 with Strength 18)

I tried just copying one savegame and didn't work, in fact, in my case, just clicking the Load Game or Continue buttons crashes the game.

Hope somebody can help.
When I try to continue or load a saved game I get a message error saying something about "NEBULA ASSERTION" and about some files length. After that I get a Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error message. I tried starting a New Game, but when saving got same error. I renamed the ...
