I just did some checking and several sites say 2 Sept 05 for the UK.

I played this last night. So here's my opinion of it.

1. Very short, but well worth getting.

2. Not much of a story line, as there is only one thing to do really, save the human town and restore peace betwen the humans and the cat people.

I found it, the little gnome(?) was standing on it!!!

Odd, my inventory wasn't even full. So it shouldn't have been dropped.

I just killed the demon(?) and I went back to the guy and he said I need to use the scroll he gave me to close the pit.

I HAVE NO SCROLL FROM HIM. He gave me that Lord Almighty thing, but no scroll.

I know this could be part of the bug, that makes stuff disappear.

So what do I do now?

I only have Chaotic Good and neutral PCs.

So that shouldn't affect me.

I t doesn't say anything, when I try to click on the stairs, NOTHING.

I do get, you must gather your party if I mover to far from "Rankin", my cleric.

I have a save just before the BIG FIGHT, so I'll try again from there.

SO, is there more after the fight?

It has the option for both, but when I put disc 2 in for SoA nothing happens. It just sits there asking for disc 2.

If I have just SoA installed it works fine.

If ToB is installed, I can only play ToB.

I have Windows XP Home, but it says it's compatible.

So it doesn't matter if I don't have ToB installed until the end? If not, does it change/affect gameplay in any way?

I won the final battle and Orrick told me to get out.

Well, my cleric was invisible or what ever and his stuff was on the floor as if he died, BUT I could talk to him.

And I can't go down stairs to get out.

What do I do?! Or is this some sort of boring, lame ending?

One of the things I found to be a MAJOR help, was to save then shut down the game after a time to clear out my protected recycling bin (many A/V software companies use this). When it hits 1,500 files or so, the game gets choppy and this seems to solve that.

There are a few spots where XP doesn't do ...

I have and have played BG2, now I have ToB and want to play it as one whole game.

My problem is this; I can only play one or the other. If ToB is installed it won't let me play SoA. I want to do the whole thing in one go. Not as 2 seperate games.

Please help.

I had BG2 installed and it worked fine, though I never got around to finishing it.

I just got "Throne of Bhaal" and now it won't let me play the first part.

I can play one or the other, not both.

OK. I got it.

I got past it, not the way the game intended, but not cheating either.

Sadly, I'm too far past him to get the rope.

I need the cheat code for rope. I have 3, but i need 4.

My bard couldn't open some chests containing the 1 bit of rope I need, and now the chests are empty. I think one of the prisons I freed took it.

HELP!

Or can I go somewhere to get some rope?

If you have on board sound, it sucks up a lot of memory and cuases the same problems.

I switched to a PCI sound card and the problem pretty much went away.

Also, try going out of the game and delete all the files in the recycling bin. Another quick fix for me.

Are you out of the etherial(?) plane? I couldn't get out until I changed back to the normal world. Use the levers in the game room, the same ones you used to play the battle game.
