Wow, nobody mentioned this one, the Shadow Dragon. He was by far the one that made me reload the most times. Even when I did finally kill him, I still had to resurrect two of my characters. I say this, because I fought him many times even AFTER looking over various strategy guides to killing dragons ...

Golems work, Dragons i'm not sure. I one-hot backstabbed a golem many times. Just don't try those clay ones that are melee resistant. Like I said, I dropped the dragon so quickly I don't know what killed it...might have been all the traps *grins evily*.

Yes, there are tons of combinations to use when going for a group of backstabbers, and i'm sure many work very well. I had no need for high hp, as I either lost a fight due to important missed backstabs or bad strategy.

I had no problem earning enough money by doing 90% of the quests. Therefore I beat the game without the need to control a stronghold and use tax income.

If you want to play a really interesting multiplayer game try this...make all thief characters. It's amazing what you can do with 6 backstabbers. I can walk into a situation that is normally difficult and turn it slaughter fest full of of flesh chunks within one round of fighting.

Yes, something is wrong. He should come out an iniate dialogue with you. At the end of that he will summon 2 pit fiends and 2 daemons while you can only sit there. Then the fight begins, =)

The red scales make great armor for a warrior and the shadow scales make great armor for a ranger (and any other studded leather only kits, I guess it's considered studded leather because my ranger could wear it). You can have the armor made by taking the scales to the Dwarven smith in the Docks ...

Try going to Umar Hills. I had the same thing happen, but when I went to Umar Hills there was an emergency quest I needed to do because I was the new ranger of Umar Hills. Try this if you became the new ranger of Umar hills.

I've beat the game legit and now I'm going to have fun with edited characters.

This might sound like a wierd question, but AD&D rules seems to be the opposite of all other games (lower armor is better, etc).......soo....are saving throws better when high or low?
