Obviously this has nothing to do with the game itself. Probably your CPU needs more effective cooling - the CPU fan should be replaced, I suppose....

Odd enough.

I run similar tests and the character with II always cast first.
Though I use druid casters in my case.

Make sure you have both...

I had thought that the DC of spells was ten + spell level + Ability bonus.

However I keep getting hit by my own fireballs when I should be saving....

Blink, Blur, improved invisible, champion's strength, cats grace, mass haste, iron skins, barkskin, mirror image,...
