Area Note
Inside the mines, you'll find numerous red barrels. These are explosive barrels, and they're
powerful enough that they'll kill any of your party members who are too close to them when they
explode. The barrels can be used to defeat some of the enemies in the mines, but it's better to
attack the barrels as soon as you see them so they don't accidentally blow up at inopportune times.
1 - Sanctuary Door
The door requires a character with Ranged 33.
2 - Secret Doors
You can open these two secret doors by pulling the nearby levers.
3 - Big Chest
Inside the chest, you'll find a
dwarven mythril ring (Quest Item 91). The ring is required
for the secondary quest
Mark of the Assassin.
4 - Levers
These are the levers you'll need to push for the primary quest
The Mines of Kaderak, Part Two.
5 - Health Shrine
6 - Ancient Dwarven Chests
In these three chests, you'll find the
silver stanza of the dwarven song of ore (Quest Item
86), the
iron stanza of the dwarven song of ore (Quest Item 87), and the
gold stanza
of the dwarven song of ore (Quest Item 88). The three stanzas are a part of the secondary quest
Dwarven Song of Ore.
7 - Lectern
On this lectern, you'll find the
greater chant of magic awareness (Chant 67).
8 - Spirit
The spirit is involved in the secondary quest
Spirits of Aranna.
9 - Sanctuary Door
The door requires a character with Combat Magic 33.
