Background

The widow Ludmila asked you to avenge the death of her husband, Vaclav.


Walkthrough

Kill Boris

When you talk to Ludmila in front of her house in Lower Raven's Rill (#1), she'll tell you that her husband was a constable in the town, but that a Lescanzi mercenary named Boris killed him. "Murdered him in cold blood!" She'll then ask you to kill Boris and deliver to her the sash that he wears as proof of his death.

You'll find Boris in a camp at the southern edge of the Pilgrims' Road (#2). He'll have some men with him, so you should start with group attacks and then switch to solo attacks when it's just you against Boris.

Note: You'll find the lore entry for Boris's Orders inside the camp.

Return to Ludmila

After the battle, when you return to Ludmila, she'll offer you a reward. If you take it, then you'll receive a "blue" weapon. If you don't, and if you also refuse rewards for A Prized Possession and The Fishing Hole, then you'll gain the Avatar of Ultimate Virtue deed (+5 Will). Either way, you'll also receive 342 xp for completing the quest.
