1 - Goblin Archers

You'll encounter a trio of Goblin Archers here hiding behind a barricade. To get at them, you'll need to destroy a barrel, either by attacking it directly with a melee weapon or by hitting the explosive barrel next to it with a ranged attack (which might also damage the archers). There's a good chance the archers will drop some Flight Arrows when they die.


2 - Krista's Brother's Room

The door to this room will start out locked with a tough lock. If you have the Rusted Key from Krista in Bordertown, then you'll be able to use it to open the door. Otherwise you'll have to pick the lock. Inside the room you'll discover a cabinet containing a Brass Locket, Bandages and 40 gp. You'll need to deliver the locket to Krista to complete her quest.


3 - Levers / Portcullis

The two levers (#3) on either side of the portcullis (#3a) won't open it up. To get the portcullis open, you'll need to descend into the Maintenance Level and open the secondary water gate (#13).


4 - Well

If you attempt to drink from the well, then you'll disturb three bloodsippers, who will proceed to attack you.


5 - Dying Soldier

The dying soldier will give you a side quest to open the portcullis (#3a).


6 - Gates

To open the gates here, just pull one of the levers right next to them.


7 - Sewage

If you walk to the end of the hallway here then you might catch a disease.


8 - Goblin Hacker / Treasure Room

Around here (#8) you'll encounter a Goblin Hacker who will drop an Odd Key when he dies. The key will allow you to enter a treasure room to the east (#8a), where you'll find a random treasure chest. You can also pick open the door to the treasure room.


9 - Lever / Gate

The lever here (#9) will open the gate to the east (#9a).


10 - Chest

Inside this chest you'll find some miscellaneous items, including a Recurved Short Bow and some Flight Arrows. However, when you open the chest, three noximanders will be released from nearby cages, and the entrance gate will close, locking you inside. To open the entrance gate back up, you'll need to pull the lever inside the middle noximander cage.


11 - Bridge

On this bridge you'll get attacked by a handful of Goblin Archers and Goblin Hackers.


12 - Closed Gate

To open this gate, you'll need to pull the lever on the eastern side.


13 - Secondary Water Gate Lever

If you pull this lever, then you'll open the portcullis on the surface (#3a).


14 - Goblin Warlord's Chamber

In this chamber you'll get attacked by a tough Goblin Warlord, who will drop a Blue Goblin Key when he dies. You'll need the key later in the game in the Goblin Citadel, so don't lose it. If you have trouble with the warlord, then just retreat to a darker portion of the level and use a spell (like Cat's Eyes) for light instead of a Torch or a Lantern. The warlord will have trouble hitting you in the dark.

Also in the chamber, you'll find two random treasure chests plus two bags containing 190 gp. One of the chests will be trapped and locked.
