If you want to increase the damage from spells like Fireball or Lightning, you are going to have to put more ranks into the spells IE. spend more experience to level them up to 4.

However, if you will be MCing certain classes as throw-ins to use certain items, be WARY of the Favored Class/MC restriction. This could cause problems(-20% exp penalty), which is not very good when you already have an ECL of +2.

EX: A FighterXX/bard1/paladin1 could use Bard and Paladin only items ...

I just looked at all possible options, and I am SO avoidant as well.
But I guess I am more of a Schizoid first!

I would suggest multi-ing your Sorcerer to Paladin of mystra at level 22 or so, you don't really need the saving throws at the start of the game, and it just slows you down by 1 level to get your higher level spells(2 levels if the sorcerer is an assimar).

Either way, I think it's a decent party ...
