In my experience, the stores have a limited amount of cash, so you can not sell anything massive to them. However, you can buy a bunch of stuff, giving them lots of cash, then they would have enough to purchase your gem. The large soul gems are much more valuable to use rather than sell, I would ...

Importing max HP?
I am interested in importing my BG char into SoA. I would like my char to have max HP when starting SoA. Do I need to force-reload every lvl up in BG to get max HP, or does SoA start my imported char. with max HP?

The only way the memorized spell list changes for clerics an druids if based on your alignment. Good vs Evil get a few different spells, most of which overlap, but some are specific to alignment. For example, summon deva vs summon fallen deva, depend on alignment. There are a few per level, but I've ...

Website update
I am not sure where this thread should go, but I thought this would be the best place.
I have attempted to submit content for the website, in the BG section. It has been quite a while since I submitted my stuff, but the website has not updated. Have they frozen the site, or should I resubmit the ...

The goul is located just NE from where you start. If you run quickly, and don't worry about the loot until after, you can kill all the basiliks before the goul dire charm timelimit. I usually control him seperate from my party, keeping him in the front of my view. He ...

I like the idea of getting away from straight HP numbers. If you wear a helmet that gives you extra HP, it should only affect your ability to defend/absorb damage to your head, not to your arm. I was thinking about damage amounts to each body part, all of which have their unique strength/weaknesses ...

As to the Efreeti, yes they can turn on you, but as the description of the spell, they turn on you if they are killed. As long as you pull them out of battle before they get killed, then they get unsummoned, and are no worse off.
As to the death spell, yes, it does kill summons instantly, BUT, that ...

Where'd the Weaponsmith go?
I found the horn of Valhala, and I have a diamond. I go to the weaponsmith's house, and he's not there! Is there anything else I have to do to get him to appear? Do I have to go during the night/day? I've stopped by everytime I go back to the Promenade, but he's never been there.

Agreed, the first time I faced him, I was toast after 6 imprisonments, all five summons, then me. DOAH.
If summons get imprisoned, they never expire, putting a cramp in my summoning style. I had to change all my memorized spells for him. I chose spell immunity for all my lvl 5s, then melfs minute ...

Thanks for the feedback. I missed the class restrictions on the scarlet, that does pose a problem. This is the SOA forum, so I am assuming no HLAs (like greater whirlwind.) I suppose at higher levels, I won't be melee fighting anyway, I'll be casting, so its more important to have mage-enhancing ...

Dual-class Scimitar wielding Mage?
I have been browsing the items on the strategy pages, and was thinking, what if I made a fighter/mage, and specialized in duel-weilding scimitars? Then I could use the Scarlet Ninja-To and Belm+2. If I dueled at lvl 13, wouldn't I get... lets see...1+1/2+1/2+1+2 = 5 attacks per round, unhasted? Then ...

Character Renaming
I have created character templates, playing new characters into Normal Act 2, getting the cube, and all without using a single stat or skill point. Once done, I save the character and back it up onto a disk, so I can import and modify the character into any type I want (amazon becomes bowazon ...
