Okay I have my names, I have my world, I have my enemies of said world. I only need one more thing! Like I said in a previous post, all of the dukes have offspring. The duke of fire also has one, she is known as the "child of fire" since her name is not to be spoken (she left the light of The ...

Not bad...

Anyway, what races they are? These guys are not members of races. They are all unique beings, they cannot be classified into existing races.

If it help, I can give you a rundown of what they are supposed to be.

The first seven of them (the dukes, the marquises (?) and the count) are ...

Need some help here

Recently I decided to scrap the world I was creating in favor of a different one, which I think is much better. Basically, I eliminated all the planes outside the transitive and material planes and turned the material plane into a flat disc, 100,000 miles in diameter sitting on top of a mountain ...

Well, that's definitely Rincewind-ish, but it doesn't work rule-wise... Discworld is extremly hard to adapt to dnd, in all manners. For instance:
-Too much magic used at once and you blow a hole to the dungeon dimensions
-Imp powered cameras =)
-You need to consider the physical side of spells, like ...

Mysteria

That's incredibly original and I like it a lot. However, implementing it could be a hard. It's incredibly complicated. It'll be very hard to use in an actual game (great story usage capability though).

Any other ideas?

I'm looking for inventive ways to connect them. In the core cosmology everything is connected through the astral plane, I wanted to change that. You know, think outside the box.

I could use some help here

Now that I've got my pantheon, the names of my planes and locations on the material plane ready, all I have to do is connect the various planes to the material. I really can't think of any way to do this (I don't want to just use the astral). The planes are described like the planes in the 3e Manual ...

Bards know and cast spells exactly like sorcerers (except they always have to have verbal components). When a bard level is gained you gain knowledge of more spells according to the bards spells known table in the player's handbook. Your charisma determines how powerful those spells are and how many ...

The obvious choice would be skill focus [alchemy] but I would also go with brew potion or still/silent spell.

Or just lets you use the same characters for a long time. And that book I mentioned is official, made by WotC and everything.

In the meantime, Mr. DM, slap together a campaign for us! Give us what races/classes we can use and what sourcebooks. I just had a look in Oriental Adventures the other day, there's something pretty cool stuff there.

I've always been partial to these:

What's that?

Spell resistance?

(in an evil group) What do you mean a 23498712345987th level drow ranger dual wielding scimitars?

It's just a walking octopus-thingie...

And, again, I HIGHLY suggest using AIM (AOL Instant Messanger) for this, it's really quite easy to use and comfortable.

I'll go first:

GMT + 2 (so I was a little off before)

I can do Monday and Saturday afternoons (3-6 PM)

I have all the core books, access to all the splatbooks, Manual of the Planes, Psionics Handbook, BoEM 1, Monsters of Faerun

I could DM, but I'd also like to play seeing as how I almost never ...

AOL Instant Messenger chat rooms are far better. And they have a built in dice roller.
